I didn't see a thread on this, but I'm guessing some of you have noticed. Pixonic has tinkered with spawn distances in BR. When you re-spawn at a beacon during beacon rush, they have nearly doubled the distance your dropped in from that beacon. Worst case I've seen is center beacon at Yamantau and you're dropped at the bottom of the ramp. Maybe I dreamed this, but your bot used to be dropped halfway down the ramp. I guess there's pros and cons, but I prefer dropping closer than they've got it now. I was at springfield defending the home beacon and my rog barely got killed by a haechi, so I spawned in with my bulgasari, and it put me way over on the other side of some structure. I dashed around the corner and they'd turned the beacon and a flood of reds came rolling in. Match lost at that point...
Anyone noticed this? I first realized it when Pix's attempt at team deathmatch failed and it went back to having the option for Dom or BR again. Maybe it's not a bad thing and I'm just pissed because I got screwed a few min ago because of it.

Yeah take Yamantau BR for example, I grab the centre beacon with my hover, ditch it, spawn in another bot and it spawned say around 100m ( in-game distance) away from the actual beacon spot.

That's my exact same situation as well. I can get CB at Yama in my hover in record time, but... if I spawn in with something stronger or I die, I'll never keep that beacon unless other Blues are there by then. Just impossible to make it back up the ramp in time. The beacon in the alley way at Powerplant is ridiculous now too. It puts you outside the alley on the other side of the wall. Beacon lost if you die going head to head with someone. It used to put you within line of sight still in the alley. And it seems to always put me way opposite of where I'm needing to go, if I'm spawning into that one and just joining the fight in another spot on that map. |

Hmm, you're seeing Roachi in the expert league?
I guess I will stick to the gold league then if it means I can evade the Roachi crisis in high-end leagues.
Anyways TDM is coming back for Android users tomorrow.

Hmm, you're seeing Roachi in the expert league? I guess I will stick to the gold league then if it means I can evade the Roachi crisis in high-end leagues. Anyways TDM is coming back for Android users tomorrow. Haechi in expert? Of course. I bounce back and forth from expert to master, but I definitely see dashes, inquisitors, shocktrains, embers, etc. Every game, lots of 'em. Worse now with the event going. |

I think I prefer Dom yamantaur over BR yamantau, because BR gives you false hope that you can successfully defend a beacon, but no! You spawn 69 million miles away and you get a total smackdown by the reds, who just so conveniently happen to spawn in the moment you get close to turning it white. At least in dom you know almost for sure if the beacon is yours or not.
LOL pixo even said they would fix the spawn locations. I guess by fix they meant screw up even more.
