The Strider never made it to the last Test Server, hopefully it may appear in the next, but the War Robots blog has this illustration of what maybe a potential future bot. It also has a picture of a new weapon, which I think might be light slot Zeus, filling the niche, Spark - Scourge - Zeus. Previous blog has also mentioned two other weapons, the Vektor and the Arbalest. The former I am guessing might be an energy weapon, perhaps a Medium slot laser, like in Gekko - Vektor - Trebuchet. The latter sounds like it could be something missile based, which I speculate might be a heavy slot as in Spirals - Hydra - Arbalest.

I think arbalest, true to its name, might be a slow fire big damage weapon. Hopefully on a light weapon slot. Im hoping spark will be a micro zeus. That would pair well with the stalker, strider, hellburner, gep and patton and maybe jesse. Im hoping for a plasma cannon. Hold button to build up the charge, release to fire.

I've seen the exorcist, but not this Strider, Spark, Vektor and Arbalest that you speak of.
Well, at least the Heavy Taran Redeemer and Light Thunder Gust will be coming in the Android 3.5 update.

I thought that robot illustration was the Strider too... Then someone speculated it was a Natasha re-design which, kinda makes sense.
Additionally, to the left on the illustration you see additional Lancelot type shielding... With the teaser of making robots more customoriented, I wonder if there will be options to add shields or other items to increase speed, add ahilities or other such ideas.

Yep, it looks like a Natasha. I like the concept of adding custom elements. What I don’t like is the excessive amount of redundant e components-only weapons The component system was frustrating from the start! Now, the more new equipment thats released, the less chance you will get what you want... Or "sets" of what you want. i have noticed since getting a 2nd hangar deck, the variety I have in both my hangars are varied... No single unit repeats... In the past I have sported Hangars with two Gepards, Two Golems, Two Griffins... Ect. Ect. Now though, I have no repeats in the ten available slots between my two hangar decks. My Two Griffins have been split between my two decks. unlike gefore also, Im attaining Component weapons in single quantities and making those work... I have attained two storms but Im kinda digging my Rog with a Storm and Orkan... More recently I began to field a Scourge and Shocktrain Kumiho which I like too... so being the kind of pkayer I am, I wont (nor could) field an all DIESS Hangar, but DIESS equipnent is peppering my hangar and with recent changes from the MM and being Expert 3, Im having fun... I have 70 million Ag too! Thats a 2016 level for me... So maybe this spot Im in now was sone sort of grand design on behalf of Pix andthe Component 'C' system?

If that is a Natasha redesign I would be all for it too. It does have a heavy stance, and the center thing thats like the Natasha's.
Do note from the blog they are planning to do more customizations, which I think might be bolt ons. Bolt ons can mean like adding physical pieces of armor, which I suppose in exchange you are also going to pay for this, and incur additional repair expenses. This will be a new way for Pixo to skim the user base once again, and at the same time, attend to one of the growing issues on the game --- decreasing TTK.
The name Strider does suggest a thin legged robot, something more in the lines of a Destrier or Hellburner.

Road map in term of weapons is clear. Each weapon to be released in a slightly altered form for different mount points :-)

I'm not sure it is a Strider. I think that it is the Regenerater,a fan made bot which was suggested to Pixonic and has a glowing blue hole in the middle for its ability.

Maybe today in the test server we can finally see the Strider. In the meantime we got the Arbalest and the Leo redesign. I got a feeling the Leo redesign is a final one, given the name on the file. From the recent blog, War Robots plans to redo the classics. Does this mean the Natasha, if that image is to be believed, will get some pieces of armor?

My next leafblower. I hope they do a redesign and not just a reskin. A lot of the legacy bots should get abilities, lower cooldowns or better stats. This would be a good opportunity to apply fixes to the MK2 program.

Some pics of the Strider from the test server. Yeah serious about the 5 charges. However it takes some length of time to recharge all five charges. Here it also sports a new weapon called the Dragoon, which is essentially a heavy mid ranged Taran. This weapon is certainly powerful and helps counter (or murder) all the Sceptres (formerly Exorcist) and Striders around. Of course, the improved Hellburner also makes things interesting. There is an overall feeling that the "classic" bots are now obsolete unless they ?fake pee place? the new weapons like Dragoon, Redeemer, Scourge, the Vortex, etc,. The new bots are only balanced when you compare them with the new league of bots, but not against the classic league. As more of the new bots comes, and they will inevitably come --- the old bots need to be rebalanced and reworked to be competitive. The Vortex feels like it found its perfect companion with the Sceptre.
