I would like to know how to tag someone when I am including them in one of my posts.
I'm sure this is probably out there already, but I can't find it.
Just an an old man having a senior moment I guess.

This is the easiest way, I think. You have to use "Reply" instead of "Quick Reply" to get you the extra formatting buttons above the editing area. Near the right, to the left of the "C" inside a square is an icon of an at sign ("@") next to what is supposed to be the head and shoulders of a faceless person. Hit that and type the first few letters of the user's name. Don't worry about upper/loser case. It should be able to find the profiles matching what you typed. Hit up/down to select the right one, and it'll insert the right code to reference them (which contains an "@" symbol, thus the icon). If the tool doesn't find it, you may want to (in a separate window) click on their profile and look for their actual official plaintext username (no special characters or spaces), which should be somewhere in the upper right. Note, it usually finds it even if the names are different, dangit.

It's like Twitter, if you've ever used that.
@username
Replace "username" with the user name of the person you want to tag.
Worth noting that some people's visible name on their post is not their actual username. Hover your mouse over their visible name, and you can see their forum name pop up.

Thank-you both for the help. I can do that.
Twitter definition (of a bird) give a call consisting of repeated light tremulous sounds. synonyms: chirp, chirrup, cheep, tweet, peep, chatter, trill, warble, sing "sparrows twittered under the eaves"
Sorry snarky, no twitter or Facebook or Instagram, or Pinterest ever used.
I tried one time to get my face LinkedIn to the space book, but I accidentally landed on IO circling Jupiter. It's cold out there.
Again thanks I appreciate the help
