AIM UP.
I just won my Hover bit and have to say.... Not a sure about this little dude. You seem to be jus painting a big ole bullseye on his Meester, floating slowly upwards like a helium Ballon slipped from the hands of some another nosed booger eating kid at a b day party
P. S. SINCE I posted this, I've had alot of field experience with my Hover. And have come to the conclusion that with proper operator experience and ability, the ole Hover can be a pretty bad mamma jamma. Once you figure out how to quickly take your thumb off the ability button at the moment of descent, and then engage again, pushing your movement button in what ever direction tickles your Lil Robotic fancy, you can actually move great distances while airborne. I've made it from one side of canyon to the other. Blasting fools below all the way across... Stuka Griffin? Never heard of her. Only real drawback is his weak jaw.. At level 8 where I have mine so far, Andy 「wee-wee」 could probably knock him out with a 「female dog」 slap.

Got mine to lv7 and loaded with tarans/mag. He's a good beacon capper but you have to be painfully aware when timing your jump. Jump after trebs fire. He's good at surprising and finishing off engaged/distracted foes. Also at sniping from high platforms. Look for the best of these in custom match mode first though so you know where they are. Also he can fire almost straight down while mechs cant fire straight up. Great for getting a few shots in. Finally, you can use him as a plane jane, he's got decent ground speed, cornershot ability and carries decent firepower.

It's like trap shooting. Normally the higher ground wins a battle. Except in War Robots, where the high ground (or in the Hover's case, mid air), is like being a sitting duck.

The only map I find hover to be effective and annoying on is Shenzen. you fly up onto the Blue roof and aim with your 2 shocktrains :P.
Dreadnought is okay too for shooting down on enemy bots when you're on the roof but you're still exposed.

Is it just me or does this thing climb a lot faster than on Test? I used to be able to hit them with Orkans, now they really move vertically.

This is a tactical bot and not a brawler though having a decent health pool & fair armament. Hover boarding, quickly tap jump when safe to do so pressing the direction you want to travel. Then let the bot free fall while taking in position of reds. When the bot descends to desired height, let say a height of a Nat/furry blip the the jump button to control glide - flight. Good for clearing high obstacles then fast low flight. Not a game changer but a useful bot.
