It's not bad overall I think. I hope to eventually place it in my specialist mid to long range hangar which is currently still under leveled.
Nashorns have a high DPS (which is further increased by 30% due to the Raijin Bastion mode).
Raijins are tough as beans and can be perched in strange places.
Makes for a discrete and reasonably powerful long-range sniper.

I always view this a viable setup in Domination.
DPS wise it's inferior to Nashorn Fury / Treb Butch, in exchange for (a lot) higher HP. Thus making it an excellent anti-sniper.
P.S. it's so satifying when you can find a pole-like obstacle and exchange fire with snipers. Enemy lasers will hit right onto the center of the pole, and Raijin's Nashorns are so separated that you can still aim with a lot of freedom.

One suggestion for a counter sniper would be a Leo w/ Nashorn & Geckos. This is more for suppression rather than taking out enemy snipers but it gets the job done.

I've found that a Molot/Tempest Leo or a gunship Griff does a fair job for sniper abatement, especially if the sniper is driving a Natty. Butch Trebs will sometimes try to stick it out a little longer before turning tail. The ones I really have issues with are the Treb Carnage. You can light up their Ancile like a fireworks show, but you can't always take it down far enough to inflict damage before having to stop to reload. Two players with Molots firing on an Ancile makes for a nice light show, and between the two you, can usually take out the sniper.

I like using my Natasha with dual level 7 Trebs for counter-sniping. Seeing that huge chunk of HP being lost with the first shot is really satisfying. I tried it on the Raijin but red team missiles and rockets just bombed the heck out of it. It moves too slow to dodge them. Too bad you can't mount heavy stuff on the Fujin. That would truly kick butt

I tried it on the Raijin but red team missiles and rockets just bombed the heck out of it. It sort of depends what you want to use your long range bot for. I don't reckon the Nashorn Raijin to be effective at a range of less than 800m. Anything within the range of Tempest/Molot fire (800m) or Trident/rockets (600m) and you get into trouble. But beyond this range then the Raijin makes sense as the only weapons that can reach it are Trebuchets, Nashorns and Kang Daes. For this a solid shield is enough. Also I would like to emphasize the discreteness of this build. The Nashorn is not a very visible weapon, so my advice would be to take advantage of this and avoid the attention of opponent snipers with Trebuchets etc. Rather fire at non-snipers - weaken and maim knife and mid range fighters to help your front line. Snipers against snipers are a waste of time because taking out opposing snipers does not help win beacons. Snipers do too little damage, so what damage they do should be directly advantageous to the team.

For that, my sniper Natasha really gets the job done. I have sat at the back and picked off those little jumping-beacon-grabbers like flies. I love how they hide behind something hoping I will have aimed at another target, and then come out to jump and BOOM...Trebs vaporizes them. On a side note...I am still looking for the ideal weapon for the Raijin. The Thunders it comes with are still pretty decent. Haven't found anything better than them.

Saw something really bizarre yesterday. A Raijin with TWO Anclie mounted on it. That means NO weapons. All he did was walk around with it. I mean nothing could kill it. He must have had them at maximum upgrade plus the Raijin at maximum. They bombed the living crap out of it and he just kept right on Strolling along. LOL...was the weirdest thing I have seen in the game.

What's strange is his team mates didn't take advantage of the protection. Nor did he seem to stop to offer it.
