I play solo, on Android, and I don't want to be in a clan. It seems the past couple of days I've been added to clan matches 80% of the time I play. There will be five clan members and me on the team. Occasionally I'll get lucky and there will only be three clan members.
I'm all for clan matches but I think solo players should be kept out of it. We don't have a way to communicate with the clan members and it's not fair to either the clan or the solo players. Quite honestly, for me it ruins the game play. I like the uncertainty and loose dynamics of solo matches.
Has anyone else seen this or something similar to this?

No more than usual once you hit lvl 30. Wait until this weekend, you're REALLY going to see them.

Soak it up, the beatings will only make you stronger. Even though I always support and adopt this logic, this isn't the case here. Solo blue team vs 4+ squad red team teaches nothing to the loser and nothing to the winner. Only some stats and some gold. (Getting bit too many solo vs squad battles.)

I like the uncertainty and loose dynamics of solo matches. Has anyone else seen this or something similar to this? yes and it's normal. With the new MM in place, there's much higher incentive for clanners to go together rather than spending most times in farming solo, which brings a lot of 2-4 members squads in play. In fact, as farming is, at least at the moment, rather unpredictable and (God, yes) frustrating, it seems clanners tend to squad most of the time (at lest, that's what I see in my clan and I've heard from contacts in a few other), both because they sort of equalize ELO among squad members (it seems ELO is averaged in squad, rather than based on the best or worst) and because it minimizes the risk of people bailing on the team (from people trying to game the ELO). I actually see this as yet another improvement brought by the new MM.

Actually the new MM is like strength training - it pushes you hard with rest periods in between. Stop looking at your win/loss and start hunting the Lvl 11-12's with the pretty paint jobs. If your a 6/9 winning battles against 10/11's (one on one) then its only a matter of time till your leveled up and handing them thier own azzes in a magnificent pageant of butt hurt. Fight for the fight, gold and stats come second.
Nothing gets me more charged then an over confident 11/12 walking at me like he doesn't even have to play. Then I eat him up. He then spends his next bot coming to relieve his embarrassment and I take half of him too. Gold be damned, that's priceless.

I was really just curious to see how often this happens. I've been level 30 for 9-10 months and this week is the first I've run into so many clan/solo players.
I love a good fight and I don't care if I lose if it's a good fight but this is similar to clubbing. I don't think getting stuck against a squad with other solo players is right. Back in the day when I ran a Tribes server (go Hungry Hippos!) we'd try to even it out by having 4 vs 16 matches. Four HH would kick the crap out of 16 solo players. A clan/squad that works together can easily overpower the same number solo players if they are good. Yes, occasionally solo players do beat squads but that's only occasionally.
Is this good for ELO? Probably not, I see many bailing after the match starts and the solos realize they are playing a squad. Then it just becomes 3-4/6.
Thanks for the input.
