I am sure many of you have played against me. I have been playing the game for more than a year. My garage or whatever you call it has 4 robots, all level tens, all of my weapons are level ten. I have never paid a penny out of pocket for the game. Like many of you I have been a level 30 for months and months.
I am not new to forums, I am a moderator at a Subaru board. This is the only game forum I belong to.

I have just been looking around, lots of people complaining about "tankers". What are they? First guess is someone who is trying to lose on purpose? Why would anyone lose on purpose?

Welcome whitestar. I used to play with a whitestar in black ops clan who hailed from England. Are you him, or just the same name?
Tankers is a term for guys that lose to drop leagues. Once they reach the low levels, they insert high power gear to slaughter underpowered reds. Nasty, filthy stuff that.

Could someone please tell me a few things about this forum?
There are no icons showing up that show me threads I have posted in.
There are no icons showing me when someone has quoted me.
Do I need to turn these things on or aren't they available on this forum?

Welcome TheWhiteStar to the forum community!
Now the majority of "tankers" lose on purpose so that they can drop down to lower leagues (rank system) and be match-made with players from the lower leagues. This makes their opponents easy targets or basically target practice, earning easy Au (Gold) and Ag (Silver).
They're just basically a bunch of... I don't know what to say. People can do whatever they want, but these particular bunch are just like... baboons.

I appreciate the clarification of what a tanker is. How can you spot one? I am quite new to the game. LVL16
bronzeIII. 3 bots. not a penny spent... not planning to either, sorry PIX. Some things, well most things I dont understand yet but am learning. this whole component thing is quite daunting. 10,000 pieces to get one weapon? ouch. I like the game that has you spin for prizes, got a Boa from it!! Not sure why I have 2 of "death from above" 2 "mass destruction" etc... BTW is there a way to upgrade more than 1 thing at a time???

The guy slaughtering whole teams in silver is a tanker on the way up. There are 2 differeny games, roulette and cards, the odds and prizes are the same on each. Stay away from them, i spin each one up until I get 1 of the free premiums or roll the 21 gold, whichever comes first. You can only do 1 upgrade at a time but can speed those upgrades using ads. The 2 new ‘death from above’ or ‘mass destruction’ are just games you can spend gold to play in order to win components for a particular bot or weapon, amongst winning other items along the way. The amount of gold you spend goes up with each spin and the odds for the top prizes are ridiculously small, so I wouldn’t bother playing after you have won the 12 hours premium prize. ‘Death from above’ is merely a description of the Inquisitor bot, which will be the particular components you can win in that particular game. ‘Mass destruction’ is just a description of the Shocktrain weapon, so if you click on it you’ll be playing mainly for Shocktrain components among the other prizes. |

Speed up upgrades using "ads"?? I see I can use gold but what are Ads (other than advertisements)? I would love to upgrade faster, like anyone else, but gold is slow to come by. I would like to see, also, comms between players during battle, except for typing while you are getting your @#$ handed to you is not desirable. If there was a way to use "canned" commands/suggestions directed at members of a clan/team then everyone wouldn't be either trying to guess what the team goal is or just working for yourself and if the team wins then it is a bonus...

The guys forget only the mobile formats have ads, if you are playing on Facebook Gameroom like me there are no ads. On the mobile platforms (Android and ios) they get a choice of watching an ad which will either take 20 mins off a upgrade, give you more silver after a battle or give you black market bronze spins. I don't know about Amazon platform.
