I could care less during regular league matches but during an event this is driving me up the wall. So say you come around the corner and feed a salvo of orkans to a red, but he's also got a red beam on his back from some camper across the map. Is there a refresh rate or anything like that when credits who got that kill?
I've been in at least 5 games during this event so far where I had counted my kills and come to find out that I had less. But then I do remember seeing a gekko beam in the middle of the brawl.
Do certain weapons like gekkos and punishers have a better chance of getting credit for kills because of their continuous or faster fire rate?

IDK, maybe its because they have continuous fire so when your rockets are reloading they get the kill in that split second when your orkan goes into slower fire. I've been thinking about this for a long time: It would be so much better if the person who did the most damage got the kill. This eliminates kill stealing and would make events a lot more fun and fair. Like you said, its sooo annoying when you get him down to 5k health when he was at like 150k before and that stupid punisher T cossack gets the kill. Who thinks I should email Pixo about my idea? I think its pretty good.

Where your teammate the last shot to finish that .1% life gets the credit regardless what weapon he uses. If you insist on using your orkans, then stagger your shots to increase your chances and unload them during the gekko intervals or block the gekkos with your body.
