Basically I want all of y'all to share your favorite songs/themes/ambience that you feel fits a specific War Robots map. I'll start first, giving a YouTube link to songs and ambience I feel fit each map. I personally feel like I should explain myself on why I pick certain songs for these maps as well.
Moon Map:
One of the Starcraft 2 Zerg themes, while originally for a crazy alien infestation, this specific tone certainly seems to fit battle for the surface of the moon. Mostly quiet with beats and a serious tone. This is war after all.
Dreadnaught:
Yet another Zerg theme. The mystery of this crashed ship, why you're fighting over it and what dark secrets its ravaged hull might still hold are very much deserving of a creepy yet electric rock ambience. I found this to be one of my favorites.
Valley:
Another Starcraft 2 theme. This time for a race known as the protoss who fit the bill for a serene landscape. A super advanced yet tribal race. A mix of nature and great technology. This theme fits the bill for the mystic War Robots facility in such a secluded patch of wilderness. What secrets could the place hold that it had to be so isolated from everything?
Yamantau:
It's pretty clear that Yamantau is a Russian facility in the Yamantau mountains. Appears to contain nuclear warheads and be a high profile target for enemies. Whether defending or trying to rip it away from the enemy's grasp, long range, and careful planning come with a tense theme and mixed with calming female vocals. Any second you feel like you'll be reduced to rubble from an unseen sniper... watch your step. This is what you're paid for.
Canyon:
While set in Nevada (as confirmed by a War Robots animation by the developers themselves) Canal has a foreign vibe that's just fitting for the dusty arena and it's secrets. Arid combat gets an arid theme.
Dead City:
A chilling theme with soothing notes and an electric guitar. I don't see how this theme DOESN'T fit with dead city...
Shenzhen:
Yet another Starcraft theme. This one from the first game though. In Shenzhen it is presumed that the city was unable to be bombarded by air. A still intact city, and a 6 pilot team is the last line of defence against a strike team sent to dish out the dirty work. Are you defending the city? Or are you here to destroy it and it's protectors?
