I Just played 20 matches with full hanger of 3/5 bots. Every match had 12/12 bots. Most matches went to time with only the bug guys left to fight. Might as well just draw for highest card. If you can't be competitive with whatever hanger you run, why bother? So I can't use my new bot I bought until it's fully upgraded? MM must use hanger strength as main factor or its just luck of the pairing

Those higher power like 12/12 guys are establishing their performance score so until they separate from you, you may have crazy matches. There is a thread that zman created that has a lot of info on the new mm - nothing from Pixo but a good crack at what is happening on the Pixo server side and why your matches are so hard to understand. war-robots-forum.freeforums.net/thread/1719/new-explained-theory-experience-iosThe only thing I can tell you is grit your teeth and play thru. The other thing is that The old days of not putting in a bot because it may throw you into another tier are somewhat over - if you bought a bot and want to play it, go ahead. I doubt your matches will get any zanier. How long does it take before it settles down? For some a day or two, for others 3-4 days, some are still working thru it on day 5. With this new MM Played maybe 40 games still it matches me with level 12 squads. I guess it's time for high level players get a squad and farm more gold by destroying us lol. |

Pixonic is planning on an inbox feature for 2.6. With it, they will be able to update the player on news, updates, and hand out gifts. Pixonic is also planning on a website for more in-depth news. It is scheduled for June. Reverting to the old mm is possible for pix, but it is much more likely that they will iron out the new mm rather than revert back to the old mm. Apparently, the new mm is much better suited to maintenance and a better foundation for further improvements. Due to this, more major changes to the mm can be expected. The upcoming league system seems that it will function similarly to the old tiers system in that players of similar mm rating will fight each other in them with cross-tier/league travel being relatively unlikely. However, the new mm is based on performance rather than hangar level, which is what the league system will be using, rather than hangar levels like the old tiers system. There are no adjustments for squads/platoons in the new mm. Currently, the MM starts looking for opponents around the player with the highest MM rating and gradually increases the range if it cannot find a suitable target. And please use the comments sections for questions about clarification and clarification only. If what happened on the other thread happens again, then news threads will be locked from the get-go. Wish they would of just held out and went with this system instead of the non sense we are dealing with now.. Farming should be back on in a lesser way and won't require manipulations.. Bottom line is Pix has to appease farmers as well as slow trudgers noobs and old pros |

Wish they would of just held out and went with this system instead of the non sense we are dealing with now.. The nonsense we are dealing with right now is the precursor to the league systems. They can't implement leagues until we establish our performance scores and the system settles down. The nice thing is Pixo finally communicated their intent and I'm a bit more excited than I was. While The match play is turbulent for some, smooth for others, I think the light we were looking for in the distance is starting to glimmer. Cheers! |
