So this post is not a guide, as I don't know the way forward. I am a free player, so no Kbots yet and no new toys except 1 Tempest. No MK2 either, and not maxed either. I have a legacy hanger, so what's legacy, anything not new like Kbot, Inquisitor, etc. DIE as some call it. So my hanger is Britbots, Griffins, Rogatkas, etc. I'm a Master player, I got as high as Master1 during the age of Kbots, but don't want to go into Champion with a weak hanger even though I could and then struggle. I was placing top dmg, but can no longer do it if there is 1 Whale on my team, so I get no Au. So now there is a meta-game, what is meta-game, no not the Orkan/Taran/Tulumbas or the Ancilot/Rhino/Kbot meta, meta-game is a game in a game that I must play now. So do I go for dmg and get top scorer and low win %, or do I go for wins, or do I go for keys, etc. There are so many mini games outside the game now, that it is a convoluted mess to play the meta-games.
So strategies: 1. Play for dmg and get the 5/3 Au for most dmg. No, not possible as I will fall further behind. 2. Forget Kbots, DIE stuff. Level to 12 first, then go MK2 legacy hanger. Yeah, that is my game now as skill can overcome Kbots. I understand not many agree and lack the skill. But I had 9.2/10.5 hanger when I reached M1, so 12/12 should be better. 3. Go for keys and the BM. Try to get components that way. Uhmm, it's too random what the loot boxes give, so not good either. A. Go for GOld Chest. Gold has better prizes supposedly. B. Go for Bronze. I heard some youtubers say bronze is better. 4. Save Au for board game. Requires a lot of gold, but basically keys and Au are the same thing now to me. Keys are better if you want all the new gear, Au is good if you want 1 specific thing. Probably the best way to get stuff, but you have to be really patient and be good at saving. Not for me. 5. Save WSP and Au for daily offers. Not as good deal as board game, but it's more immediate reward. Plus WSP is easier to earn and cheaper. This is a whole meta-game in a meta-game, so yeah. 6. Use WSP only for daily offers, save Au only for board game. Probably the best use of resources, but too late for me.
In the end, I think I will go for this: 1. Play game and go for win and some bonus Au. Get high win %, above 50% like during last event (reached 70%) and grab 2 quick beacons with a capper. Then do what I need to for a win, so sometimes I go dmg, sometimes I go for beacons. Hopefully both but win comes first. 2. Level all weapons to L12. Tarans first, then Orkans. Then same for lights. Then bots. Repeat until I reach L12. 3. Go for Gold Chest. Should be able to do 1 per month since they extended time. Open myself, because why not. 4. Produce WSP points constantly. Each day, exchange some Au for more WSP. Usually 2 or 3 trade ins as buying components with WSP is better deal than using Au. Sometimes more Au->WSP conversion that day if I need the WSP for a good deal. 5. Buy the best deals first if resources are scarce. Buy only one secondary component for bundles. So I will always buy 360 Inquisitor bundled with 240 Shocktrain for 3500 WSP or 900 Au. 6. Buy other bundles with less desirable secondary component if I have extra resources. So if I have 10K WSP saved up, then buy say 360 Inquisitor with some other junk. 7. Buy bad deals for main component if I have spare resources (only WSP). So for 10K WSP, I buy 120 Inquisitor with some other junk. 8. Save Au for #5, the best deals and bundles only. I am wasting Au for #7. #6 might be good for Au too. 9. Consider reverse bundles. So I'm guessing the 120 Inquisitor with x Shocktrain deals. Probably only with WSP though. 10. Try to avoid junk bundles, so components which are near 0 so they don't pile up. In other words, tertiary, quaternion, quincillary list of components I want. These are still consider junk, but not as "junky".

The key thing is.. What ever you do. Dont camp. Capture and hold beacons. Dont be "That Guy" Who drops in range on a small map and just wont risk advancing to at least center beacon to help the team.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes Honestly, Thats my biggest complaint in the game right now. I have got so frustrated with people who drop range on small maps and absolutely wont move more than 50M from spawn. This is further compounded when were 4 capped and they have no interest in beacon control. As of late, I shoot at blue guys repeatedly when I have burned up over half my hangar in 5 minutes capturing and trying to hold beacons by myself when there still in there first range bot and havent even done 300k damage yet. In rare instances where half the team or more does this, I just eject and move on. If you have no plans on try and win, well there is no sense in me wasting my time on your team.

Thanks for the heads up! With all the Youtubers dropping like flies, it's good to see some good ones pop up. Especially VOX members are some of my current favorites to watch as I have played against them. My post isn't about how to beat the Kbots. But there are many players who are near the top like me, run solo, and need to get resources to keep up. So this is more a combo of my way of farming, and how to spend my resources to get a Kbot since there are 1000x ways to get one.

Totally agree - solo is really painful at the moment. I have lost count of the million point, 4-5 beacon loses. Squading is almost the opposite - 90% no skill required steamrolling of random teams that don’t stand a chance. The 10% where it is competitive it is the usual suspect clans in squads and there it is in many cases down to who has more mkII / shocktrains. i still hang out to max the silver I get to make the match not a complete write off.

Even when I am camping, my team is "camping more". So on a map like Yamantau, I may be in my RDB Griffin pelting them at centre from 450m. But I know my team has bigger campers when the reds are all looking at me and pointing their guns at me, and I go why are they all looking at me?. Then I turn around, and see my entire team is even further back than me, barely out of the spawn. Happens so much, I don't even need to turn around anymore. I can just tell. I don't tank my team. At most, I will spawn on a beacon they are trying to capture and try to defend it. At least I can get some quick dmg in, and get some keys. Most of the time, I don't move on as I like to wait until the end. Only during the event when the event tasks chains were so impossibly long, that I would leave after meching out. Now that the event is over, it's not as bad. I still see it, but it's hard to tell. But I have resign myself that most players will not develop the skill no matter if they have MK4 or Kbot. Yes, MK4.

One of the things I like about being in master league and above is you rarely see any trebuchet snipers because although the burst damage is good, it's not going to get you that high damage you want.

Lol, when I get my old account back, I will run a Treb sniper. Although, I have to get it out of Expert first. Can't wait to use my Trebs on all the annoying Kbots.

Plenty of trebs in this game. Edit: We lost. Bad. Ouch...I usually play squad with my clan and we always get clan matches and everyone is running kbots, ancilots, and zeus furies. I didn't see a single treb user out of 11 clan squads, but maybe that was because they wiped us out without even needing to use one with their annoying shock trains idk...didn't check the hangar because I just left the battle after meching out. But when we still had TDM, it was like treb paradise...

I would play for beacons. Hopefully that way you can get 5+au and some keys. Get as much damage as you can while fighting for beacons so you might get another 1 or 3 gold. Use the gold in the offers for haechi components. Keep cooking WSP and use them in the offers for haechi components too. Play like mad during the xmas event and that will stack up gold and keys quicker than normal.

Play like mad during the xmas event and that will stack up gold and keys quicker than normal. Thanks for actually reading my post! Yes, I'll have to do the math. Maybe I will save the Au for my 2nd Haechi, and use it for the board game instead of spending any on daily offers. WSP:Au conversion rate is 10:1 and worsening the more you do, but daily offers are 3500:900 so almost 3.5/1 for the Inquisitor+Shocktrain bundle. Or another strategy is to convert all Au to WSP and buy daily offers with only WSP to get the best bang for buck? I ran out of Au and WSP long ago, so it's not a big deal to wait for offers I want. There are also bumber crop days and weeks, where I see multiple Haechi 360 bundles for Au and WSP. Also, I'm playing Domination as BR mode is just a lost cause if you lose a beacon mid match or if blue doesn't get centre beacon (meaning if I fail in the first minute, it's 90% over) so I don't want to tank my team and abandon them either. Of course, this is all ethical, so that is the point. I'll have to look at the Halloween posts, but I feel the board game is best bang for the buck to spend Au. But it very hard to get 14K Au so you can spin all the way till end. My other account has 9K Au saved up (and 100K WSP), so I haven't spent a dime yet and glad I waited to sort out what is best. So far on this account, I am 49% to Haechi with estimated 7500 * 3000 Au spent and 28K WSP. I think the WSP figure is more accurate and easier to figure out, but I know I started with ~5K Au at the beginning of Halloween event and make maybe another 15 Au each day, so 75 Au/day. If I only spend on 1 bundle type for Haechi, then it'll be easy to calculate how much more Au and WSP it'll take, and hence the time till I get my first Haechi. As you can see, I don't earn that much Au per day from playing (or grinding more like it now, farming, etc.) Events are hard because I can go for keys (so damage), but then I'll lose and War Robots is down to 30%. Also, event tasks are a real grind, so I can't always go for what I want (keys, wins, kills, beacons, dmg). Luckily I have enough silver, so I'm not going for that and just let the free premiums take care of that. I also looked at some youtubers, and some of them spent a lot on the board game during the event. Then 3 weeks later, I looked at their Au, and they made most of it back (don't remember, but 9K Au). Of course having an OP hanger helps, playing with top clan helps, so he can earn Au back fast. So this is why I made this post, for players like me who don't have Whale hangers and can't play as much, maybe only 2-3 hours per night. I mean, tonight I made only 5Au I think after 1 hour of play. My hanger is nothing to sniff at, 10/11.4 currently. But still far cry from Whalehood. I thought leveling to 12 would help, but not as much I found out. So it's a case of rich get richer, and how to survive as middle class in the upper tiers (so upper-middle class?). * Forgot I wasted Au on skins and speeding upgrades.

I forgot to mention, I already spent a lot of Au to speed upgrades to level 12. 1 Ancile, 2 Tarans, 2 Orkans I think.
At first, I thought L12 legacy hanger would earn more Au, but now I regret wasting my Au. Probably spent at least 2500Au on upgrades.
Also bought that skeleton skin during Halloween. 1900 Au.

One more thing, I need to save my Au for MK2 upgrades. I should be at all level 12 weapons by early Jan next year. I'm guessing 11/13 hanger plus 1 Kbot should bring balance to the force for me. (I don't want to 14/14 as game will be to easy for me, same with whalehood).

The problem with this game, is that unlike other games, it does not SHOW what your other teammates are choosing for their bots, so you can pick the one that best complements or has synergy with the team.
If its a long range map, players will, with the best intentions, drop sniper bot with trebs thinking only one or two will drop them, and other bots for the rest. Then all of a sudden, four out of six bots drops with a treb bot.
The game needs to eliminate the guess work by showing team composition before the first drop, and then before a respawn.
