The ads have hit War Robots, and based on threads none of you seem to be ready to burn the building down over them -- I expect that a rash of WSP tasks will change that for some of you but only time will tell on that front.
The title of this post IS why your here after all and I do want to address that. Lets see if we can get to the bottom of how much does pix make for you watching a 30 second ad?
The first thing that you need to learn is what CPM is: Cost Per Mille. For those of you who didn't suffer through latin, or are adverse to the metric system; Mille = thousand. The term CPM is probably well known to any one who has worked with or on any sort of on line advertising. Impression based ads are the grand daddy of ALL ads, these are the bread and butter and all ad technology is descended from this (CPC and the more costly CPA).
With this in mind we can ask the internet (google) what the current range of prices are for CPM for video ads -- and we come up with a LOT of numbers.
On the low end we have $3 for 1000 plays, and this is the pay out (what likey pix is likely to receive). We also have a speculative $25 per thousand plays and this is what an advertiser is likely to PAY for 1000 targeted impressions - and careful bidding can get this number down to $6 per 1000 views. It should be noted that some of the ads were seeing are also "interactive", outright mini games (albeit bad ones) to entice to you click - prices for these can go as high as $40 per 1000 impressions (and advertisers balk at this price so the reality is probably much more sane).
For the sake of argument (and simplicity) lets assume that pix is going to get some where in the neighborhood of $5 per 1000 impressions/plays of its ad. To be honest this number could be higher or lower, but it is within reason. Top tier youtube content creators can see this much for 1000 impressions, however some see as little as $0.75 -- however the interactive ads are more costly to run and probably more likely to be more valuable.
$5 per 1000 views, pix would get 1/2 a cent ($0.005) for each ad you view.
If any of you are un happy with my assessment, feel free to tell me --- or just fish around in the couch for change and pay yourself back for the time spent reading this.

Not quite sure what you are on about but i will take a guess that you dont care for ads . I find being bribed to view ads a fun part of the freemium game experience . Nobody is forcing us to watch anything just like no one is forcing us to spend gold on the Royale casino black jack card whatever thing ?
My father had a saying when asked how he was. " I cannot complain .......Nobody is listening ." Let Pix mess up their game as much as they want and cry when people run off . Thats the worst slap you can give them . Right now you are giving them free publicity because there is no such thing as bad publicity .
If you are totally offended go play a PS3 game . Moaning about something you have no control over is a huge waste of time . Time you could spend playing something else .

out of the topic. there always some kind of string attached with this game. watching the ads to open the bronze i find it to be fishy. So far I've opened the bronze and gotten keys and nashorn and silver AU. this tell me they're system is not honest AT ALL and the probability getting these trash items is high.

But the above statement isn't an inditement of pix, and more of an analysis. I also jinxed myself and got two WSP tasks today.

Actually, there are many times when the ad function disappears for some reason, but after I play a game or re launch the app, it appears again. So if I get a wsp task, I just wait until that happens and I can use replacement points again. The ad function typically disappears when I save up 3 battles and watch ads 3 consecutive times.

I'm loving the ads for Bronze tokens. I've gotten about 600 keys total, including one role of 400, a ton of components and about 500 Au. I've gotten some Ag too but not a lot. I found it maxes at three free spins so I play three games, get three boxes and start over again.

I play enough that I manage to shave 5-6 hours off of upgrade time a day. Insane, I know, but it certainly speeds things along.

Tbh I dont know the exact numbers companies but I would say thats a solid ballpark range for how much pix themselves will make from this. It's probably purely supplementary $ for them, but as a player I'm liking the idea of reduced upgrade time or maybe a few bronze rolls just for kicks However I am on amazon so it might be a week or so until I see them but hey nice estimate op
