I just had a domination match in Powerplant and the enemy team had 4 players using zenit+noricum natashas and no one on my team was able to cap beacons because they would focus fire.
Jesus christ it's like fireworks all over the screen, you can't see scrap besides waves of smoke from the missiles.
I heard to counter this a hanger of Close ranged fighters will clean them up, but my hanger is made up of long ranged fighters and I wasn't able to get into any good positions to return fire because one wave of zenit+noricum after another made it impossible.
we lost because of beacons. but god damn it's so frustrating trying to get the camper!

Is this thread a joke? Because if there are so many Zenit builds on the enemy team, your team is garunteed free damage and a win.

Fast bots.
Cap beacons.
Defend beacons.
Keep moving, diagonally to them.
Pay attention to which reds actually get kills, and kill them. Try to detect any low-skill red campers, and keep them alive.
Win by beacon control.

I didn't have my 2 orkans+Taran on my fujin, dual thunders on raijin and dual thunder+pinata on my Natasha. Given the MM gives random maps and the hanger decks isn't available yet I can't build a CQC hanger as of yet.

Win by beacon control. My only fast bot is Fujin at 43kpm, I managed to get to their campers but they were guarded by two knife fighters Aphid Patton and Taran+Magnum Griffin. The team wasn't doing much with the cancerous campers on the enemy team and 2 left when all beacons was captured by enemy team.

I use 3 punisher Griffins on my new account, works like a charm, usually can get 400k~600K damage per match with only lv.5 punishers, and they don't cost gold or wsp, just silver.

@johnnynguyen117
It’s apparent you were not equipped with the right gear for taking them out. As others have said, fast bots will help you get to them easier and outrun their artillery. When you have something fast, the best way to get to them is by running irregular patterns and making it hard to predict where you will be when they fire. For example.. zig-zag but also trick them by zigging an extra time when they are expecting you to zag.
Before I move on, I want to say this first: This is a game (we forget that sometimes). The point of a game is to entertain us and bring us enjoyment. You have to ask yourself what brings you the most enjoyment and what is most important to you in this game.
With that said, let’s talk about your hangar. It is really not necessary to have more than 1-2 long/mid-range setups in your hangar at any given time or for any map. However, if that’s what you truly enjoy using and playing the setups you like the best is what is most important to you, than so be it. But it will come at a cost. The cost of being a good teammate and helping ensure a win for yourself as well as your team.
If you want to be a better teammate, you need a more balanced hangar and flexibility so you can drop in your bots according to what needs to be done to win.
I never have a set plan when I go into a game. I may have particular bots I like to drop first on certain maps, but after that it’s all situational. I make sure I have enough flexibility in my hangar to deal with any situation. To kill key enemies that are tearing up my team, to cap beacons when we need them, and (most importantly), to defend the beacons we have.
So had I been in your situation, I probably would have dropped in my Stalker and headed towards them with stealth on, knowing once I get within 300m they couldn’t do anything. Or possibly my Carnage to be protected with the Ancile and then EASILY take them out when I got there.
But if it was BR, and I got to the campers and started taking them out and realized we were losing a key beacon, I would have likely changed bots to my Rhino and spawned in at the beacon we were losing.

Walk straight towards or away from the Zenits. They literally cannot hit you even if they tried.
Keep moving, cap beacons, keep moving. If your team had trouble helping you deal with two knifers, then you were just in a bad situation. Normally, a team of Zenits is so easy to beat you would have capped 4+ beacons while dancing in front of their spawn just for laughs.

Have one mid-range (maybe 2 if you mech out fast) or one long range. the rest should be faster/KF bots.

They brought down my level 8 fujins energy shield in 2 minutes by focusing fire. Maybe if I did have Carnage I would've rushed them and 「grape」 all 4 campers. But now I will rush in to get the campers and send them back to the hanger ASAP over beacons.

This move usually works best for me. Print it out and keep it in the same pocket as your phone:
Zig, zag, zig, zag, zig, zig, zag, zag, zig, zag, zig, zig, zag, zig (I bet you were thinking that would be a zag; so was the enemy!), zig, zag, zag, zag, zig, zag, zag, zig, zag, zig, zag, zag, zig, zig, zig, zag. Start over from the beginning.
When you have that down, I have some more advanced patterns that will be good through at least Expert league.

You do need to have fast robots..rather than getting frustrated just get as much beacons as you can and just wait for them to come to you....get a fast bot.
As for the second deck..my advice flesh out your main hangar first before even thinking of putting anything on the second hangar..dont put your hands into too many pots..
You must be on silver if the players u meet are using artillery on PP..good grief! Keep upgrading and fleshing out your hangar with the Gold league in mind..

Hmm well MM seems to play jokes on me when I equip my bots for Knife fighting and give me a sniper maps like Yamantau, Springfield and Canyon... When I equip long range weapons I get Shenzhen, Moon, Powerplant and Dead city. Well luckily for me the solution to this problem is hanger decks which should be released soon!

Well, I was just in silver yesterday, faced the same 「dookie」, and I never had the problem with getting long range or short range maps. Just equip your hangar for versatility, and learn how to maneuver using the cover and terrain on the maps. My hangar has 1 midranger, 3 brawlers, and 1 Noricum Patton I threw in there for 「dookie」 and giggles but proved to be useful in late-game situations. Basically, the best hangar you can have has 1 long range, 1 mid-range, and 3 knife-fighters.

First hanger will be: Griffin/Orkan/Pinata Leo/Thunder/Pinata GL Patton/Quad Pinatas Vityaz/Zenit/Dual Noricum 2nd Hanger: Fujin/Triplet Molot Raijin/Dual Trebuchet Natasha/Dual Zenit/Dual Noricum Golem/Thunder/Taran/Pinata I've currently saved up 611 Gold and close to my fourth slot. However the problem is with the hanger decks is that you have to purchase each individual hanger slot for the 2nd hanger because I played on the test server I know. but I'm not sure if it applies to the live server since Pixonic provides little to none information about how new contents work!

Unless your bot is absolutely slow (~30km/h), you can avoid them just by keep moving back and forth. don't go sideways (i.e. perpendicular to the Art-using enemy) because skilled pilot can do lead shots well.

Don't bother upgrading 2nd hangar or long-range weapons when you only have 4 slots. Get a PDB Griffin or Rogatka and learn how to corner shoot with them. If you want some mid-range support bots, try punisher Griffins or punisher Leo, cheap and effective.

I'm only playing this game casually for fun to kill time/release stress after work and I don't plan on getting to end game tiers.
Just sticking to War Robots for the time being until I find something else to kill time with. While I do spend cash it's limited to $20 each 2 weeks.

Make sure you have 5 slots before doing anything. As for long range bots, full disclosure: I think long range play is a hindrance to your team. Capping and defending beacons wins matches. If you do have a long range build, do with it want you need to and then eject (no more than 3 minutes), regardless of how much HP its got left. I don't do long range but I do run a zeus fury but never stay in it if we're down on beacons. Now for the cursory: It's a game, so do whatever makes you happy. Of the LR builds you posted, the Vityaz/Zenit/Dual Noricum is weak; no to the Raijin/Trebuchet--trebuchets are only good when they are leveled and there are 3 of them; Natasha/Dual Zenit/Dual Noricum is okay I guess. Fujin triple molots is the best you have here but while it's range is impressive you need to get closer for it to be more effective.
