The 5th roulette spin gave me the Shocktrain. I put this on Kumiho for the test and brought it back to the closet.(1 is not enough for me)
Long reloading time and low firepower make the fastest bot - Kumiho gets ditched very often to help a team or keep the beacon. I also tried with Aphids on Galahad. I bet Aphids Jesse is way better than that.
Here is one of few winning footage with Dash hangers' help.

Interesting. Don't sweat it. A lot of crying on here but I'm sure many are finding that shocktrain is not the "god weapon" many make it out to be. It's got some quarks in use, and in many situations it's absolutely worthless. If used in a narrow spectrum it's op as hell, but the rest of the time you will wish any other weapon in the game lol. The Kumiho on the other hand is amazing. Master it and you will never be disappointed.

Yes, seconding the cossack thing. You get an effective beacon runner that can also make a decent damage total with constant pop up attacks. The fact you get to be the most annoying thing in the universe to the other team is just a bonus.

I wouldn't put a shocktrain on a beacon running bot. Or, if you do, don't put that bot down as your first beacon bot. It's a total waste when it gets toasted at the centre beacon. From everything that I've read here, the shocktrain is basically a mid range sniper weapon. One shocktrain won't do much damage. I actually saw a blue Gareth running around in the open field with a shocktrain/magnum. He got fried. With only one shocktrain, I'd probably put it on a fast bot that can run from cover to cover while it recharges. Maybe pair it with spiral or aphid if you mount it on a Gareth so that you can fire while behind cover. If it were me, I might try the single shocktrain on a Galahad with gekkos. Get into range, fire the shocktrain, retreat to 650m while firing the gekkos. Rinse and repeat. This would keep the Galahad out of rocket range, and it's shield would protect from sniper fire. This would be an excellent anti sniper build, especially against those sniper/mid range combos on big maps. You'd only have to get into range of the mid range bot, tag it with the shocktrain, and watch as the sniper takes damage too.

I don’t know. I think mounting it to a capture mech isn’t a bad way to go. After all, you want to minimize contact time and that’s a great way to deal serious damage with a low amount of face-time.

My punisher Fujin and the thunder Carnage who helped me were both half dead by the time we nailed it. And we split up after the first zap. If the cossack pilot did not try to hold the Red's side beacon, and instead scooted to just be a pain all over the battlefield, he or she would have done a LOT better!

I Will only be getting 1 at a time, myself. Just yesterday I was thinking about what I would do with Just one at first and I think I would try it on a Boa with a Zeus. Firing times dont sync up especially if you want to fully charge the shocktrain. Still working on another one for the rog but it might take a while.

But man I like my level 10 Rog still alot better. Just can't seem to fire the Orks on the Kumiho with the accuracy of the Rog. Maybe I'm trying to fire too soon after finishing a Dash.

It is only a "God" weapon in numbers. A single user needs three on a bot to be truly OP. The real problem is when clans get together with multiple bots using three of them. Facing a coordinated attack from 18 max level shock train literally has no counter.
The "whining" is because this weapon is the first of its kind, one that a team can use exclusively and have a 100% chance of meching out any team that does not have them. Even Ancilots weren't nearly that bad in full clans. The fact it would cost over $3,000 to compile these hangars that people are facing, and that there is 0 chance of earning that type of hangar via playing, just makes it worse.

I use orkans on my Bulg. One thing to remember. If you fire while dashing, you will waste a lot of rockets. Use the dash to get into position, and then quickly out. Don't fire while dashing unless you are dashing straight in. I use that sometimes when I get a little impatient and want to get into firing range.

Kumiho is awesome. Speed is your #1 Ally. So level up to max speed should be priority. Piloting: If at range you can speed to cover, and hop on down the line to get where you want. Don't be afraid to run away, you can easily get from one side of the map to another and harass reds all over. A good Kumiho pilot will cap beacons, and hit and run, let them target the shielded blues. If you do have to knife fight, work on your pilot skills by dashing PAST your red, spinning to him and tracking through the dash. So when you stop you can blast, and the red is left spinning in circles. You run it like that and you will irritate the whole red team and get a good bit of damage, and pick up some damaged kills that are still attacking your team.

Wait so don't knife fight a Kumiho, similar to how I use my Rog a bit of hit what I can and run till my Orks can recharge. But how can you do this on a big map like Canyon and be successfull?
