In a 1v1 the DB Griffen would win lol. The rhino leaves you quite vulnerable having to travel around objects to hit your opponent while Griffen can just leap, unload, and back into cover. I'm using a variation with aphid and orkans since my pinatas aren't high level, but I got lvl.11 aphids so they do work too.

I liked the Rhino, but I found the Griffin was just more usable and survivable in more situations.

There are a couple notable situations where the Rhino outshines the Griffin. The first (and maybe most important) that comes to mind is that of speed. Yes, the griffin can jump and that significantly adds to it's speed, but good griffin pilots know that jumping lets other people know you have a Griffin and so you can't just jump all the time to make yourself faster. Use the Rhino if you need to add some extra speed to your hanger. A perfect example of this is as a first bot in BR mode. The second situation where the DB Rhino is preferable is against the Tarancilot. Charging inside the blue bubble is both extremely effective and satisfying. It is also a regular occurrence as Tarancilots still haunt the battlefield often, many times unchecked. There are likely more situations, but those are the 2 that jump out at me.

Griffin, being a powerful mythological creature, is far better than a measly Rhino.

I like Rhino, but if it come DB in BR you have to play very aggressively, do to its speed you can manage out flank or behind enemy's line cause some mayham at their sqawn. If you master your rhino's ability you can dodge for cover against any splash attack and the shield very good to dealing PDB bot. However when its come to the best DB goes to griffin because the advance to go higher ground and leap across objection but its risky chance if you get a barrage fire in the air. There one time on dead city with my rhino I've encounter a Kumiho with orkan in the center beacon's cover playing peek a boo, as we trade fire i manage turn behind the cover to dodge before he fully wasting his clip on me and flank him behind without even notice i was behind.

I really strongly recommend the Hellfire Rhino over the DB Rhino. Being able to put your shield up and use the Magnums to battle other Plasma Robots (Griffins, Ancilots, Haechis, Fujins ect) and Carnages is really nice. And you can break the shields of Ancilots nicely with the Orkans if you get in close, and then can put the shield up and finish em with Magnums.
But without jump,a Haechi with Orkans will eat any Rhino alive, so I voted Griffin.

Rhino and DB Griffin have different roles in the hangar. Rhino is a leadoff beacon capper that has some value as knife fighter, while DB Griffin is a pure knife fighter. In terms of knife fighting I give the clear edge to the Griffin.
So, if you have a Kumiho or Rog in your lineup, you don't really need a Rhino. (The shield is very situational, and gives best protection against snipers in the initial rush for the center beacon.) If you don't have a Kumiho or Rog, I'd say go DB Rhino and use it as leadoff bot.

I like Rhinos. They are the favorite meal of my Orkan Rog at center beacon in BR. Actually, I defeated quite a lot of Rogs with my DB Rhino at the Yama center beacon ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png) I'd argue both are pretty much equal, and it comes down to the pilot who wins. Rhino has better protection against snipers, Rog is better against rockets, Rhino has more firepower, Rog is more mobile.

Kill an Ancile with the Punishers and finish off with the Orkans. Recently I preferred Punishers over Magnums.

i personally tested it out myself to be honest
these were my best plays:
Best Rhino results: lasted 2 minutes from the start of the match
Best Griffin results: lasted the whole match from the beginning and ended with 2k health
these were both on the map canyon
seems obvious i'd take the griffin though the rhino could be very fun if i ever would be able to use it right Thanks anyways guys for your oppinion!

I have a PDB Rhino which I love and am building a DB Rhino to go with my DB Griffin.
The Rhino has more health and better survivability with the shield against all the plasma and energy weapons out there, against bullets and against snipers. The griffin is more of a ambusher bot with that leap ability. The Griffin is so slow after playing your Rhino, even with the jump. They both have strengths and weaknesses, that's why I am aiming at having one of both. I get into situations with my DB Griffin and wish I were in my Rhino and vice versa.
Punishers Orkans on a rhino sounds interesting might have to try that if charging inside the ancile is not an option, and to do some damage when not in Orkan range....
