Why is Android so screwy ?! It is up and down all over the place with quitters on practically every match..
I get walk overs ... then get walked over ... it's a bit crazy at the mo

The fastest losses I had ever seen, one after another was how I realized the MM had been changed on ios. When they do it for android you'll notice quickly. Enjoy.

It was absolutely stable from my experience up until last night... I have not had the pleasure of playing today.
I have been 7/9 mediums and 6/9 Heavies so, if there was a change however many days ago... I should have seen something... not just more of the same.
What the folks on the iOS side of the house went through is proof that everyone would have noticed it...I would guess.
Unless they (PIX) did a tweak on the mm change release for Android...

Maybe we get answer sooner or later. Even before 2.5 came. I got the new mm 1 or 2 days before the patch. I'm really not sure of the exact number but it is likely to be 1 day before the patch. (since it is server sided) Doubt it but maybe phone? Samsung... but then again I'm guessing a lot of people have Samsung. (Started getting 8-12 level heavies with 10-12 weapons against my 6/8 heavies - which I liked immensely thanks to intense battles - 3 or 4 days ago from now. Actually played quite a bit today and nothing changed except for the change that happened 3-4 days ago.)

I think maybe some android players have been screwing around in prep of the MM ... Since the 2.5 update my games have been up & down but this evening ...holy crap!! I have level 4 lights and mediums with one level 5 ... Weapons mostly 7... Last match a 3 squad\clan with maxd hangars ...each of them had a Fury ! I was single salvo cannon fodder only managing one kill and one beacon It's not been a fun evening

With the cluster?firetruck? that was and is the iOS rollout of the new MM, I hope the reports of randomness from the android players means Pix is actually following a phased rollout and testing process for them this time. Android is the greater portion of the player pop. (~14mil) with a proportional active player pool (~700-800,000). I hope this means they've sandboxed a single live server and are directing some players to it for testing/tweaking of the MM algorithm to ease player angst, or to start the process of developing, in chunks, individual player modified Elo scores.
The full scale zero day come one come all meat grinder rollout on iOS was bad enough and we're only a quarter to a third of Pix's player base.

They'll keep pushing up; you'll stay as is or move lower. same thing happened on iOS for the first couple of days but better now that players are achieving separation.

How would they separate out the player base to give some scores and not others and keep reshuffling them? And while android player base is larger, it's not like iOS is tiny. Even on iOS we had some people with vastly different experiences going thru the MM for unknown reasons...I'm thinking we're seeing that same thing on android. However, I really don't know.

It's definitely live on Android today. In squad play I didn't lose a single battle as we face rolled the reds.
Possible that there is a phases roll out on the three different servers (EU, Asia, USA), hence some seeing it and others aren't. But as of today, US for sure has it as every game was a mismatch for top tier players I was with.

Maybe we get answer sooner or later. I suspect for android it was added at diffeent times on different servers worldwide (and no one can tell as it is a server side, not client side, update). I saw the new MM between 36 and 48 hours ago (Europe). It has been a ride, but it seems to me it is stabilizing and yesterday what I distinctly noticed now is either very short games because one team had two or more bailouts (people surely trying to rig the ELO by artificially lose games, there's actually some moron openly asking that on the forum) or longer games as the teams were actually very well balanced, despite the players being of different levels.

There was a noticable difference just before 2.5, and yesterday all hell broke lose. You've got to wonder why Pix didn't think about pre-initializing the Elo by the hangar score... Good thing I can't play today, because I had my share of getting my humble 2/7 mediums one-shot by level 12 midrange Furys yesterday. Winrate maybe 20%.

I have definitely seen a change. Squads today are a mix of bots lev 3 - 12. My mid range 6/7 machines are getting blasted by 12/12 trident furys and my 64% win rate has dropped like a rock to 28%. Great fun (heavy sarcasim intended).
I understand this is supposed to balance out from the top down eventually. Honestly though with all the suggestions on mm people have in the forum threads this choice seems both painful and uncertain to me.
