Not an informative post, nor a rant. Just a shared experience and a laugh
And note, I use the term 'talent' for lack of better words. This is just an app game...isn't rocket science.
So, I am Gold 1 with an all lvl 6 hanger. Got a couple weapons to 7. Kumi w/ Orcans, Ancilot, 3x Zeus Fury, ThunderMagTasha, and a Griff w/ Gekkos & Scourges are in the hanger. Purchased Lance and Fury on the 100%+ pop-up sales; only money spent.
Beacon Rush / Canyon
I load in with Kumi and dash the perimeter grabbing beacons. I enjoy trying to get into the enemy camp early to either steal a beacon so that we can load into their hom base for a knife fighter war, or get behind their long-range bots and kill/harass them.
Anyway, was on their beacon and a Haechi w/ Orcans dashed around the corner at me...some player with the all Chinese alphebet names (forgive me if not Chinese). As he dashed at me, a friendly player hit him with a treb from range. The trebs did little damage but spooked the player enough that he turned and unloaded his orcans at a player well outside orcan range. He then tried to dash retreat and backed himself right into a u-shape canyon wall and trapped himself. Sitting duck for me to dash into his e-shield and kill him with my low level orcans. At this point I'm laughing too hard to put up a smart defense against the other reds that rush me.
I load in with my Zeus Fury and as soon as I do I see him dashing around the canyon in another Haechi. So, I waddle into position and hit him with a single zeus to get his attention. He took the bait and starts dashing towards me, confident he can reach me before I kill him. I hold fire until he is in the open and too far from cover then start zapping him with the triple Zeuses. Another easy kill.
I see him load in in yet another Haechi. But my focus is on some other reds near center beacon. I keep an eye on where he is. So, when I die, I load into center beacon at the bridge, with my Lanceat, as that is where I saw him last. Sure enough, he is on me almost immediately after I spawn. But, he doesn't try to rush into my shield. Instead, he dashes side-to-side hoping I and others will miss. His orcans ate thru my Ancile and shield and nearly killed me. But I and another blue, maybe two, picked him off easily with tarans. I die almost as soon as he does as my Lance on top of the bridge was a big, easy target and he left me as an easy kill steal for another red.
I drop in with my Thunder/Mags Tasha on center beacon and there he is...in another Haechi...this one with Tarans. I go straight towards him and he begins his side-to-side dashes. Him and a couple reds kill me quickly. I spawn in at home base with my last bot, Griff with lasers and Scourges, and lock onto him from range and he panicks and begins retreating backwards. Blues get the beacon win before he is killed.
I'm no Charles ?wee-wee?ins, but hope I am painting the picture for the hillarious scene that it was.
Unfortunately I clicked off the screen before checking his bot and weapon levels; something I never do, but was laughing so hard I misclicked. I can only assume he wasn't all lvl 12 as my lvl 6/7 hanger wouldn't have stood a chance even with his rubbish tactics.
None-the-less, here is a player with an all Haechi hanger. But he failed to realize, PREMIUM BOTS DON'T EQUATE TO PREMIUM SKILLS.
To the player in the encounter, if you read this. Feel free to PM me. Gift me a kbot and I will teach you how to pilot the thing
To everyone else, hope you get a laugh out of this encounter. And feel free to share your own stories. There are enough rants about the OP bots and weapons. This forum could use some sillies about those who fail with said bots/weapons
