Carnage is great
Nashorn is too weak
Currently zeus,tempest, trebuchet (thunder short <100m range) are good on a carnage
Trident used to be good and are still ok if you plan to lvl up to 12

The interesting thing about the Nashorn is that it's not a very visible weapon.
If you alternate your firing of each gun then you could get quite decent continuous fire of a shot off at every 5 seconds. A range of 1100 isn't anything to be sneezed at.

But when you sneeze. You'll miss.  A novel idea nonetheless. It would probably depend on what level and map. I havent seen too many people level Nashes though. And theyre not particularly good for fighting in closer ranges like zeuses can be. Weapon profile also doesnt help as the targetting locks on center of mass. If anything you want the weapons exposed and your center hidden which the carnage is already capable of doing with any weapon. |

The Carnage was the first WSP bot I got, transferring skills and weapons from my months of anti-gepard thundershutzing so, by now, I've played basically every configurations except tempests and double embers (I'm trying to get the second, it's probably the most effective combination of them all).
With nashorns is... pretty meh.
Even at max levels, the guns are mostly a distraction as you might force some snipers to move around, decreasing their overall damage, but your own damage output will be so low (especially if you drop it as first bot and it survives long enough) to become a liability to your team. Same with the trebuchets. Plus, the higher the league, the higher the % of bots with natural or added shields, making them useless. Eventually, your only targets become butches, furies and jumping griffins on long maps so, a tiny % of bots on a third of the maps. No can do.
It's Zeus or Thunders for me.

And as long range it can't use it's mobility and is mainly up against other long range stuff (Gekkos/Trebs) which means the Ancile is almost useless. Nashorn Fury is somewhat viable as anti-sniper, but this is a very limited role. During the last approximately 1000 games there was exactly 1 time where a Nashorn (or Kang Dae) bothered me, when I was out in Springfield taking beacons on the farm side with a Kumiho. Didn't stop me from getting all 3 beacons though. The only place I like a Nashorn is on a Gekko Leo, because you need to put something in that spot and it shouldn't be something that gives your position away (like glowing Trebs). |

I do run a Nashorn Fury from time to time. 3 is where it gets fun.
Against unshielded targets it can knock a handful of teeth off every volley. Against shielded targets it's even worse than the Trident. Absolutely dreadful.
A Nashorn Carnage would be so niche I don't even know what to do with it.

... as a low profile long range shooter? Meh. Not enough DPS. If you compare the Teb, Kang, and KwK it's actually the KwK with the highest cycle DPS.  The only place I like a Nashorn is on a Gekko Leo, because you need to put something in that spot and it shouldn't be something that gives your position away (like glowing Trebs). You're right. You wouldn't want something on a Gekko Leo to give away your position to the Reds. It'd ruin your otherwise stealthy attack from anonymity. |

I actually saw a couple natashas using lvl.12 mk1 nashorns and kang daes in expert league and I just ignore them lol. The Carnage currently pairs really well with Ember, Zeus, or Tempest. The Thunder is, unfortunately, underwhelming since the thunder pellets mostly miss the dash bots skinny waistline even at point blank range.
I would not recommend the treb, trident, kang, or nashorn. The damage isn't enough to justify a hangar slot. Even the butch/fury treb can put your team at a disadvantage at times and it has 50 to 100% more power.

A Nashorn Carnage can't even break through another Carnage shield. It's not very good.

I've never seen anyone try it. I question whether you would do enough damage in a short enough period of time to make a positive difference in the game but I find carnage is generally more effective in mid-range-to-long-range than inside of 350 unless it is carrying something really nasty like double ember. Traditional best use is as a glass cannon brawler with double thunder, a durable sniper with carnage zeus, and tempest carnage. Tempest is cheapest component and is getting a 5% buff in next release on top of recent buffs to damage including 2.x versus armor

But I have nothing for very long range. That's why I'm considering this build. Long range bots aren’t very good. You will do damage and get kills but it puts a lot of pressure on your knife fighters. This is doubly true for the carnage which has 33% less firepower than the fury. It is a suboptimal build of a weak archetype. I strongly recommend passing on the carnage as a long range platform. Stick with midrange. It is a great mix of damage and range. You are only 1 Zeus away from a Zeus Carnage. While it has lost some steam, the RDB Griffin is serviceable if you pick your targets and avoid Ancile. Best of luck! |

Mine is 'just' ok :/ Level 10/10/10, guess my hopes were not realized when I began watching the enemies dmg. bars rather slow depletion.
