Man I have tried the Doc in test, which previously I haven't liked in test with Orks or Tulus. Just didn't like. However in the recent test I put 4 Scourges on him. Wow it was fun as the quickdraw seemed to match up pretty good with the Scourge. I could unload two Scourges and then quickdraw and start up the other two. Not sure how this would work with Shocktrain but this makes me want to save up components for my 4th Scourge for when one day hopefully I win a Doc.
Do you guys notice the same thing?

Yes, absolutely. That’s exactly what I found, too.
If by “Scourges” you mean “Tulus” and by “Shocktrains” you mean “Orkans.”

Scourges take too long for doc to unload, makes it a target because it has to stay exposed. Shocktrains unload fast but have a long recharge, makes doc a target because its defenseless after unloading. Orkans, tulus, are doc's best friends. Hydras too if you're a 「wee-wee」

Seems like double shocktrain would be pretty brutal for an assassin doc. But if you are going to pay for 4 shocktrain and a doc, why not just get 3 shocktrain and a Haechi?

Shocktrain and Scourge don't work for the Doc. The Shocktrain has a too short reload time and the Scourge relies on sustained DPS. Try Puns + Orks.

The Doc, however, has a cooldown time of 15 secs while the Shocktrain has an 8 sec reload. You'd be better off using it on a Fujin tbh.

IMHO, using quad scougres or shocktrains is sub optimal. I run a pair of scourges on my Orkan Doc. Though both weapons increase Doc's engagement distance, they cant out race tarans or orkans in damage and would be at a disadvantage when facing them. Pairing scourges /shocktrains with orkans / tarans has proven more effectective

You can only fore 2 at a time. The Scourge reload is fairly quick. So after the second pair fires, the cooldown is longer than the reload.

It also depends on playstyle. the Shocktrain will allow you to fire all 4 very fast and then duck for cover.
However, if you want to keep ducking and taking cover, the scourge will give you more firepower in the long run. That being said, Docs dont last very long and I would suggest Shocktrains over Scourges.

I'd stick shocktrains on a rog. The quickshot allows rog to minimize breaking cover and is a good pairing for getting into good firing situations. Well piloted rogs are also tough to hit and great at disappearing into cover. Pop/slap shots can be particularly effective at whittling down reds. I dont care much for the chain effect though.

I could see a Shocktrain/Orkans Doc. Shocktrains as default weapon, switch to Orkans if the Doc is pressured. Guess I'd still prefer a Dash to run Shocktrains, but if you don't have one, and have acquired Shocktrains through components, then yes, this is your personal way to the dark side.

Never good to have kids in the hospital or anyone for that matter. I’ve been there with two of my kids a few times. I hope all is well with your family, now.
