Prior to the Halloween Event, I've was in Masters III for a long time. I was able to get a Heachi from components at the start of the event and used it during the event. While chasing the Kumiho I did end up dropping to Expert II for a bit and after getting the Kumiho, it was a non-stop race to Champion. Even as a was quickly moving through Masters again, I was only paired with Expert I and below players. I rarely saw another Masters or higher player on either team. My win rate shot to over 70% and even when losing I was gaining points with top damage. Then once I hit the fight for Champion, things started to change. I was only paired, rightly so, with Champion players. After barely holding on to get into Champion I'm back to a 50% win rate and I'm wonder how short of a trip it will be back to Masters something or other. Personally, I don't think with my hanger I should be in the Champion League as all I'm faced with is MKII weapons but we'll see what happens as the MM craziness from the event fallout continues... ![](https://i.imgur.com/ZUH8raD.png)

That's a champ hangar on iOS, not sure about Android. 9/9 is the threshold to make champ on iOS if you're also good at the game, though. Especially with two dash bots, albeit the Kumihos.

2 lances, 1 treb butch, 1 haechi and , 1 Kumi is not a weak hangar for Champ league on iOS. I see many weaker hangars. Mark 2 and higher levels are almost irrelevant if you have a matchup advantage like a Haechi vs mk 2 lance.

I have NEVER seen a Champion with a 9/9 hangar on iOS. I don't think it's possible, especially with Dash bots and Mk2 stuff around, unless you were in the LQ before Pixonic eliminated rewards.

Congrats, OG! Sorry I haven't been on much (usually run into you every few days), but I've been down in silver with a 2nd account. Trust me folks, this is a lower lvl hangar than normal for android Champion League. OG is a monster. Ferocious player.

Obviously you need to be a good player regardless.

Prior to Champion, I'd rarely Mech out. Now all I do is Mech out. Of course I really only use my Kumiho as a beacon capper as I've not learned how to handle unloading the Orakans at full speed...

My hanger is 12/12
RDB Griff PLasma Griff DB Griff Tempest Carnage Gecko Zeus Leo
I am champs league and have no real trouble staying there, just cant compete against too many dash bots or shocktrains.

That looks like a good hangar for Champions League on Android but the levels are low compared to what I see. Surely you must be a good pilot, but I can't see that hangar competing in Champions League with 12/12+ bots regularly. Especially now that leagues seem to be matched more closely. See how it goes. At worst, a demotion to masters and more time to save/level isn't that bad either. It will be less difficult to amass resources there.

I doubt this hanger will keep me in Champion long and I'm more focused on updating most of my weapons to 10 versus leveling everything to 12. With 500M in Ag, I can upgrade anything I want but I'd rather have everything close to the same level so I can swap bots and weapons in and out as needed.

Congrats ogpondskum! This is quite an achievement. Sure its a strong hangar but I dipped into Expert this morning and immediately came across this guy (see below). I reckon you're being pretty modest crediting your Champ status to favorable MM matchups - I've got no doubt you've been fighting the same whales and old-school champs everybody else in iOS Expert up has to.

I ![](https://i.imgur.com/0otnsql.jpg) This was my hanger when I reached iOS Champions League few months ago. I still has the same hanger now but a bit higher level (bought a Lancelots last week and upgrading in background). ![](https://i.imgur.com/czjgTOD.jpg) My League rating, average damage is lower compared to before Dash update (the average hanger is much stronger in iOS Champions League now, I am ok dealing with all the old bot, but not doing so well with new bots/weapons, especially the MKII), but still never drop outside Champions League. I believe once you there, you are ready in Champions League.

That’s called skill. Not everyone needs a full hangar of Dashes or Lances or all lvl 11/12 gear.
Congrats and well done.

Got a question, do you think does Heachi or Kuminho helps to get you to Champions League? I reach Champions League from Master3 very quickly after I replace my Stalker with Rogatka.

I think the Heachi helped with damage on the losing matches but I don't think the Kuminho helped much. For me, the Kuminho takes a while to get used to due to the speed. It did a great job at getting me beacon gold but it was more like capture a few beacons, die, and then get into the rest of my hanger. Depending on the map, I'd save the Heachi for last so some matches it did not even make it out to the battlefield.

I do quite well with the kumi averaging 1-3 kills with it alone per game. If I see ancilot, I dash into it's shield and unload orkans and then dash out and back to cover to reload. Many times, I use it to sneak up on snipers or go kill that annoying hydra user because if you keep circling him, he won't be able to aim his hydras at you.

Until I won/erned the Kumi in the event I had not played the it since the test server earlier this year. On the test server I was able to do exactly what you stated with the dash in and out against the ancilot. Being out of practice and now against level 12 v level 8, I still have a learning curve. Fortunately, I've been getting more experience and I'm also playing it more cautious. I find it helpful to do a custom game without any opponents so I can dash around and lean the bot better. I play dom and I'll still lead with Kumi so I can try and get the beacon gold. Not only that, I'm shocked at how many Champion players will still ignore the beacons. I thought by the time players get to Champion they'd know to grab the beacon. I might have stated in before but I normally drop my Heachi last. I think that is a great cleanup bot. I'm anxiously awaiting 4K more components so I can get a Bulg.

I don't understand how you are being matched up solely with Champion level players. I am in Expert II on iOS and am constantly paired with at least 3 Champs per match. Good job on getting to that level.

Good job on getting to that level. I'm on Android and now that I've been in Champion for a few days, I see some Masters and an Expert every now and then but most of my matches are 80% Champion players. Now I only look at the stats one the rare occasion when I'm in the top three to see the bot and league levels. Game wait times are at least two minutes and that is far above what game wait indicator indicates. I feel like I can tell when I'm playing Champion or other players based on how fast the bot takes damage with Orkans. Sometimes it's surprising to unload Orks on a bot and not watch them melt away.

Nice strategy against lock on weapons, never thought of this. Got Kuminho during last event, this should works against Zeus Fury and xxxx lock on fire bot. snk For zeus, I found that if you already locked on to a target within 600m, and there is another target within 600m, you can just switch to that target and zap him without locking on. If you want to kill a zeus fury, you really need to wait until he fires at someone else and then quickly dash forward into another hiding spot going from cover to cover. I was just in a match with a hydra haechi. He kept targetting me so I switch to my orkan kumiho and dashed to his spot and dashed in circles to kill him. When I got to his spot, he couldn't fire a single missile at me and spend the entire time trying to dash away to get a good aim, but kumiho's dash cooldown is much faster so I easily circled him again. ogpondskum When I firsted used kumiho, it was basically get a beacon and then get killed. After using it more, I've gotten decent at using it and easily kill DB rhinos and griffens. Many people still make the mistake of seeing kumiho as a light bot that they can kill quickly, but my kumiho is lvl.11 right now and has the health of a lvl.10 griffen so it's not going down that fast, and I also like that its hardpoints rarely get blown off so even at low hp, I still have both orkans intact. Kumiho is my retribution bot for those annoying snipers and hydras users who make the mistake of marking me. Now, I gotta go to your spot and disrespect you in point blank range lol.

I am E2 with 10/10s and face MK2 dashes with shocktrains all day.
I don't want to go beyond E2.
I'm not sure how OP is in Champions League with 9/9s...I wonder what MM decides on now.
