Tried to register and it said I need to confirm my e-mail. But I never get the e-mail asking for confirmation. I tried about 8 times and nothing.

Nope. Nothing there. I use Juno for my e-mail. Maybe the forum isn't compatible with them. |

Wikia.com is not blacklisted and google provides their email service. There used to be a problem yeas ago where juno coune send to google but would not receive mail from them. If you have a gmail account try sending an email to your juno address. If that fails you should get a failure mail in your gmail box. I doubt this problem is happening again, but who knows...
