 There are two kinds of people who think Shock train is over powered. People who don't have one. And people who are stupid. P.S. Since this post has drawn many talking abouy one shocktrain setup and one only.. The haechi with three maxed out shocktrains, I thought I'd add this to the post. I'm talking about the weapon itself. I run one on a level 10 Gallahad with two lvl 10 Mags as back up. I don't have three strapped on one of my Haechis. That to me sounds like an overpowered robot configuration maybe, but then again strap 3 of anything on a haechi and it's doomsday for everyone. |

You forgot one category: People that have been slaughtered numero’s times by full clans of maxed mk2 haechi’s equiped with maxed mk2 shocktrain.
However there’s only one type of persons who post something like the above: that is people who do not know what they are talking about.

Damn dirty rat! You make so much sense. Indeed, players in silver/gold leagues are too stupid to be playing 6/6 or 8/8 hangars getting slaughtered by maxed Mk II ST, and clearly, they haven't figured out how to play the game yet.

Hilarious. What's more hilarious is the actual range is the whole map. Primary target needs to be 500, but the extension of 150 thereafter is not op in any way. Nor is the mk2 maxed version on a bot few can catch that wipes 1/3 to 1/2 your health out. This is the carbon monoxide of weps in the game-silent and super leathal. Doing 1.7 million in one robot is so overrated.

Its pretty bad in that it follows Pixonic's stated aim of increasing gameplay speed. More games within a given span of time (mech outs, beacon blitzes etc. even with the same clock timer) speeds up the behavioral changes they are working on and increases the velocity of their money making. They introduced bigger sticks already, all thats left is to hit players more within the same timeframe. Expect Pixonic's future actions to follow this trend and you wont be too surprised.

Considering this was a DLA post... I can't help but feel like y'all are biting at bait  If not, well, IMO, 1 Shocktrain ain't too bad... 2 is starting to get a bit uncool... 3 on a highly mobile, Ancile shielded, OP bot... is as painful as Andre the Giant with Parkinson's giving prostate exams. |

One shock train is like a little shock. It does something but nothing like 3.
I would imagine you could do a zeus shock train lance and do some major mess.

Posted this in another thread for a different reason but figured I'd do it here too because it's relevant. First, it's a FB/GR game, so... yeah. Not really a bastion of good matches. At all. But... Yeah this dude was in full examination mode of our entire team... I think his normally oversized fingers were swollen, and he was in full shake, and damnit, he forgot the lube... again!:  Did this, with the majority of the game in the Shocktrain Haechi:  LOL. He would have been in it the whole match if he hadn't had mercy to come spawn raid us and get into the scrum a bit. He could have stayed away and just cleared the field with it. Really, the best decision Pix made was dropping that amazing, skill inducing, team play encouraging weapon, on us. Just like we begged them to! Not a bit of negative feedback about that weapon was submitted, at all, before it was released! Thank you Pix! I'm not at all Butthur---- oh wait.... |

I was pretty disturbed so I took some SS’s. Yea sorry about that, my hanger clearly don’t belong there. I was abit aggressive running becons during the event. Was surprised my rating dropped that low. I’m in E1 now climbing back up. Again my apologies but really why the hell am I even allowed in D League? |

I think in the case of shocktrains, dose determines the poison.
1 shocktrain is a PITA.
2 shocktrains will hurt you and force you to adapt.
3 shocktrains will grab you by the gonads til you yell daddy.
Currently shocktrains:
1) arent slated to be nerfed til v3.4
2) have that horrible chain effect that defies explanation but not exploitation.
3) seem to go through physical shields at least for galahad and gary.
4) have a relatively fast reload time compared to damage.
5) can currently be taken to Mk2.
6) have a hardy and speedy delivery system in the Kbots.
So one can see why the reaction is as strong as it is.

all jokes aside, nips pilot, my post was based on my experience playin a 10/10 Gallahad with a lvl 10 shocktrain with two lvl 10 Mags on light hard points. And skill is not an issue as I am usually top 2 in every game. Usually... Except for squad matches where my clan mates are all 12/12 and mm puts against other 12/12. My experience with shocktrain has been less than stellar. Maybe if I strapped 3 on one of my two Haechis it would prove different. But I'm not talking about robot configurations sweetheart. I'm talkin about an individual weapon performance... Sound like I might know a little what I'm taking about? |

DLA - I've tried exactly the same Galahad setup, and agree a single Shocktrain does very little. It's not a brawler weapon, you need to be sub 350m for the mags to work which wastes the Shocktrains main advantage. However, 3 of them firing from just under 500m (and you can lock at up to 600) will wreck you and 2 teammates in 3 hits. With 3 on a Kbot, they can usually dash to keep you away from range, which is why they can last a whole battle and do 1.5+m HP damage. Oh, it also goes through your Galahad shield.... |

If pix were to make them blockable with physical shields (in line with all other energy weps-does this thing shoot demon seed?), we would see much more use of Brit bots.
Also bulgasari becomes much stronger.
Both of these are a welcome direction in my book.
