All I was shooting for in the event tasks was an Ancile, then a skinned Raijin would be nice, but I made it well into the Scourge last night and today at 4:30pm I started on the last 4 wins to complete the win part. I did that in 5 games and just kept going killing bots, need 73 and my first several games made 7-9 kills each. That’s leveled out to 3-4 kills but progress is so much more rapid than wins. I want it now, kill, kill, binge, binge.
Then suddenly the top of my left eye began hurting like an F and my left arm was going numb. That’s it, I have to stop, and it’s... 11pm! Would’ve kept going otherwise. Just 8 kills and 58 beacons to a Scourge.
I know one Scourge isn’t much but it’ll be my first new toy since before the WW bots came out and I’m more interested in collecting than leveling up.
No way I’m going for a second Scourge, this has already sucked most of 2 days away and my body can’t take it. One will tide me over until I collect components.
Oh thank god my eye is feeling better already. No more kills, please animal urges, I know it’s just 8 kills to complete 4/5 but my eye! No more, it’ll hurt...
OK, I should eat something smoke something and move around; then I can kill? Oh no, now my cognitive mind is duped by this Skinner box.

Ohh, be careful, that sounds like quite a 'habit' you're developing there. Enjoy the Scourge, but you'll quickly 'need' another one.

wow, I would be happy if I could have time to play War Robots 6~7 hrs in a low without worrying about other things... anyways, I recommend trying a blue light-blocking “gamer’s glasses”. this is what I wear on top of my prescription eyeglasses, during both work and gaming: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019CRKRM2I look funny wearing these but I feel much less eye strain. also at least stand up, stretch and walk around every 30min. there are studies finding sitting for >30min without break increases chance of death in midle-age to elder people more than any other factor (smoking etc), not sure about thumbs (in my case index/middle fingers, since I play with my ipad on top of the table, rather than holding it) ...

I get headaches but I think it’s more related to tension/neck problems and looking down at my phone too much.

Its a game. Play Hard, Have Fun but dont make it your life. Its not just your eyes that will hurt. It can distance you from your family and spouse too.

Yeah, it was a one time binge the likes of which I’ve only done a couple times before as a kid with Zelda and Megaman.
I have a bad habit of playing in the dark too. I’ll research if the yellow glasses or a shield will help with that but I don’t plan to binge like this again.
My iPhone 5s will last about 1.5 hours of War Robots. When the low power message pops up I play tethered to power.
Also, later that night I noticed the inside of my left ring finger was bruised, which wraps under the phone to hold it up. Couldn’t find another position to hold it without awkwardness. Maybe I should play more on my iPad but I find it clumsy to control despite a much richer view.

Oh, wow. No way on earth I'd be able to play that long. Work, marriage, parentage, and need for exercise prevent me from doing any more than 10 matches a day. Besides, I notice I sleep terribly if I play too close to bedtime--too exciting.
