On this whole second hanger thing.
Firstly I know pix's motives are about milking whales, and yes an optional 6th bot would definitly be better all around, but that being said I could probably field a second viable hanger. I kind of paused in the upgrade march a while back and broght a lot of stuff to 9/10. Main hanger is at present all short range knifers all at 10/11. Its less than ideal on big maps but for me better overall than a balances hanger on short maps.
While I don't actually have the 7,500 Au (go lucky spin), I was kind of interested in thinking out what a big map only hanger would look like. I have lots of beacon running and mid range options, but with 5 knifers in the main hanger that where I would be light on the second. I was kind of thinking two solid mid rangers a beacon runner and two brawlers might work. Could probably manage that, but then I would have two hangers to upgrade .
Anyway, I know all the reason why I shouldn't even bother, just wondering if anyone has thought out what hanger #2 would look like?

I am so looking forward to the second hangar and I'm saving my gold for that. Almost halfway there. My second hangar is pretty much a big map spam hangar. I will finally start upgrading my trebs, hydras, gekkos and noris. People will HATE me! I have enough bots and gear at or near the 7/8 mark - which is my sweet spot. Or, I might keep some stuff at level 6 for this 6 pack thing people are talking about.

My guess is they would probably stock it with leftovers at first. Then move towards a 2-2-1 brawler, sniper, mid range to balance it out. OR they could go Koala's route and have people hate them...

I don't normally like the long range setups, but I do have a couple lying that I occassionally use. Problem is that when I put one in, I don't get the large maps. So, the way I see it, with a second hangar, I can pick and choose. Hopefully there will be an option to choose AFTER you see what map you're playing in!

Yes because having the competitive edge over the competition is going to do wonders for this game!

Probably looks like this.... 5 happy Campers, standing in a row.

Probably looks like this.... 5 happy Campers, standing in a row. Perfect. That's when my Lance or Galahad comes out, grabs 3 beacons and waits behind a rock. I might try to flank, to distract them from the main action under the bridge however I let the time count down. Don't engage and don't expose yourself and let the beacon counter do all the work.

You guys are doing it wrong:
Hanger 1: The hanger you driving today.
Hanger 2: The fading hanger that you use on big maps, think desies and cossacks with long range and indirect fire fittings. Get off the map with a -22 as fast as possible.

Large map hanger: Treb Butch, Tempest Fury, Taran Ancilot, Orkan Bulgasari, Orkan Kumiho. That's my first cut...will play around with the Bulgasari & Kumiho spots...see which knifer and fast beacon runner is the better fit.

I wouldn’t add any long-rangers, there will be more than plenty out there.
I will add bots with shield, Punisher Galahad, Molot Galahad, some kind of Rhino, plus a couple mid-rangers, Zeus or Trident Carn and RDB Rhino/Griff. about 60% of these I already have as >lvl9
I may also try bringing back the Stalker as a late-game runner, or ended up finally buying an Ancilot, which now become “relatively” cheap,

My sweet spot is all lvl 9 and due to affordable upgrade costs and quick upgrade times I have accumulated a huge pile of gear. I could probably assemble 5 full 9/9 hangars immediately. I'm prepared for this new feature. For maps like Springfield, Yamantau or Canyon I'd throw in three Tempest Furies, a Hydra Fujin and a Trebuchet Raijin.

Im With Deadeye. In the past few weeks I have run nothing longer than 350M range and am enjoying it. Sure, On big maps I have to play the sides more and be much more cautious once I cross over center but im getting damage and kills as much as the range guys and beacons to boot. Also, when I hit small maps I dont feel like I have a 4 slot hangar because I have a range bot in that cant capture and hold a beacon. Its definitely a preference. I am just tired of playing/dealing with range on EVERY map and would rather just sneak up on the campers and club em up close. Slowly, steadily sneaking over to your spawn....MWahahahaha..

Imagine top tier games soon. Large maps will have nothing but treb butches and Gekko Pattons. Small maps will have nothing but Orkan Haechis. It’s going to be so beautiful.

If I were going to do two hangars with what i have now: (I doubt it at this point). This is what comes from having a too diverse hangar:
Hangar 1 - all 9/10: taran ancilot, zeus fury, stukka griff, db rhino, 9/9 thunder mag leo Hangar 2 - 9/10 rdb, 9/10 punisher griff, 9/10 plasma galahad, 9/10 Ork ancilot, 9/9 trident pin natasha
If I had concentrated on only 5 bots I'm sure I would be close to 12 by now.

You know guys, just because you CAN doesn't mean you SHOULD. As in, running ALL long range bots is a 「fluffernutter」ing TERRIBLE idea and you're going to lose. A LOT. You run 3-4 knife fighters, and 1-2 long range in your second hangar, not 5 long range bots.
Kinda thought this would be self evident by the amount of threads about campers losing games in the rants section......

Absolutely, I was thinking 2 at most, and even at that probably more mid range, Zeus and Thempests maybe.
