Hi everyone,I'm Kevmac and this is all new to me.
As an older guy (62yrs.) my guess is most forum members are a bit younger and have much better gaming and computer skills than I do as I only started using a tablet after my retirement for something to kill time.Being old school computers aren't second nature so please cut the old dude some slack.War Robots is fun and I look forward to picking up tips from the pros out there!

I'm looking forward to meeting you on the battlefield! Welcome. Congrats on your Leo! It’s a bit slow, but it’s a sturdy bot that can last you up until the end of Diamond League. I recommend Thunder and 3x piñatas or 3x punishers. You can also try Magnums if you can afford them. Just beware that Pixonic has some pretty aggressive strategies to try t get you to spend more than you want to. Steer clear of this and you should have some good playtime. Happy hunting |

I'm looking forward to meeting you on the battlefield! Welcome to the forums and the game essentially. Like Dark mentioned, I find a thunder 3X pinata, 3X punisher or 3X aphids a good setup. The pinata puts you in close range battles while the punishers I've been seeing more and more as his slow speeds can be a liability on low maps, so the range may help bring him into support roles quicker. Thanks for the advice. My biggest fear are the energy/lightning weapons. When can I get one? I won a magnum that I use on my Destrier. It's fast and deadly. I can get in close to the heavy bots and take them down now and then. Leo is slow but sturdy. I use it after I've captured a few beacons. I've started killing larger targets with Leo.

Thanks. I'm trying to win the Trebuchet before Tuesday. I started saving my gold for the fifth slot, just started accumulating workshop points yesterday. I reached Silver third league today. It's getting tougher without constant upgrades.

welcome new players to War Robots and the forum pages, good to see the negativity isnt putting off new pilots. : ) despite the doom mongers its a great game and can be alot of fun, as long as you see it as a game and not the future of the universe ridding on you aquiring the kbots!
