I put this in rant because I suspect it will turn into endless posts with rants which is fine with me.
My basic question: how long to wait in days and matches is a reasonable expectation before the new MM settle down especially if you are experiencing issues?
I put in days and matches because each player puts in different amounts of time to the game....choose 1 time frame and 1 number of matches.
Thanks for the input...I'm trying to calibrate my expectations with others
edit - well shoot....I thought the poll would show up beneath my commentary as it is my first (and maybe last poll). I didn't realize you can't edit poll phrasing so I might have to redo this if it is not clear enough.

Posting to get this back up top.
A week and 25 matches. I seem to have found my spot with those in my cohort and level. No brand new guys to back up/watch over and no 12/12 pipe hitters the last couple days.

So basically the more you play the better the matchmaking gets for you?

For me it seems to have taken roughly 300 battles and a little over 3 days consistently running the same hangar (high gold tier) to see balance and return everything for me back to where it was before the "Big Change" happened.

I don't see/haven't seen any settling down. It 50/50 up and down. And I could live with it, if it didn't seem the teams teams also were/are affected. Nothing makes me want to find another game to play, then getting shot out in 5 minutes, and then sitting there watching them do the same to everyone else.

While many of us have played enough games to even out our own league score, many have not and are still getting dropped into matches they don't belong in. Which is why grossly mismatched battles are still occurring.

That is one reason anyway, other factors remain obfuscated to me.

I don't know how many matches I've played. Usually a couple before work, and quite a few after. I have checked my %. Used to carry 3+, and then after then change I dropped to 2. It seems that I drop a tier then around 2.4 I go back up. And I've noticed that when I drop - I meet people on the same yo yo - cause I have WSP and see people that don't seem to. And it doesn't make feel any better to shred someone when I know they've been bumped up above their level just for winning at their level.

I selected 7-14 days and up to 25 matches. On other thread I mentioned that, that was time what my hangar needed to "balance" to new MM. Didn't face any overwhelming opponents and my win rate has been going up since new MM. My hangar is somewhere in "trash gold" tier: robots level 7,7,7,6 and 6 with weapon levels 8-9 and one 7 (three heavy, two medium class robots)

I seem to have settled down. Win rate is still terrible. The system seems to be pulling people up as they try new weapons. And looking at team mates and opponents, bot and weapons close. Last 6 games; opponents had all 5 slots filled while mine seem to average 3. I have 4. The games were good to a point-half way. Then the die off would start. Also, not a major problem, but a irritating one. Same map over and over.
