It seems that Pixonic's idea for solving MM problems is to . . . introduce a new currency ("honor" points) and loot boxes ("supply crates"). History repeats itself. First as tragedy, then as farce.

It's actually a really good thing what they are trying to do. It's not new currency, they actually are trying to provide better rewards for players that want to grind, climb leagues and log on more often.

It could lead to either a much needed consolidation of in-game currencies and incentives, or towards new monetization schemes, keeping the heat on the whales to stop spending. Now, the way Pixo behaved recently, where would you put your money?
