ATTENTION! Please delete the previous War Robots test app before installing the current one in order to avoid possible app performance issues.
Special bonus to those who record and share videos from the test server on YouTube! Upload your video, insert a link in the feedback form and receive additional rewards!
Test server will be open on January 21-22nd from 7 to 10 PM in the next timezones: GMT/UTC (Universal Time Coordinated), EST (Eastern Standard Time), PT (Pacific Time) and JST (Japanese Standard Time). This results in a total of 6 test sessions.
What’s new:
— Spiral Heavy 1: 12000 damage, firing 1 missile/shot, ammo 3 rockets, range 600m, reload time 12s
— Spiral Heavy 2: 12000 damage, firing 2 missiles/shot, ammo 3 rockets, range 600m, reload time 12s
— Spiral Heavy 3: 19200 damage, firing 1 missile/shot, ammo 6 rockets, range 600m, reload time 12s
2.5 update changes:
— The Wild Bunch: special ability animation time cut to 0.5s
— Jesse: speed 57 —> 64 km/h; special ability cooldown 18s —> 10s
— Doc: speed 45 —> 51 km/h; special ability cooldown 14s —> 15s
— Butch: speed 30 —> 35 km/h; special ability cooldown 42s —> 20s
— Rogatka: HP 124k —> 135k; speed 45 —> 48 km/h
— Leo: HP 206k —> 226k
— Natasha: speed 27 —> 30 km/h
— Gareth: speed 60 —> 64 km/h
— Vityaz: HP 144k —> 152k
— Fujin: shield HP (90% of robot’s HP instead of 60%) and regeneration speed increased
— Gekko: damage increased by 15%

Humm, why would anyone choose SH1....?
I'll run SH3 on a Carnage, just to see what's going to annoy the hell out of me in a couple of months time.
6 missiles and 19k damage each.....3 on a Fury....that's really...FFS!
Anyway, I'll mostly be playing on the Test this weekend, as iOS Live is a bit of a shocker at the moment.

It does. They could have insisted on overpowered close combat weapons at least instead. Would have made the game less balanced just like this will, but more engaging than peeking behind a corner and pressing a red button at least.

I suggest that certain weapons be banned from certain bots, like how the butch cant use anciles and the fujin and the other switchbots can't use physical sheilds.
Ban this weapon from the fury and the world shall be fine.

I suggest that certain weapons be banned from certain bots, like how the butch cant use anciles and the fujin and the other switchbots can't use physical sheilds. Ban this weapon from the fury and the world shall be fine. Tridents must be banned from the middle slot of the Fury. |

Any issues running the test server app on the same device as the live app? I just got invited for the test server so this is my first go-round. I'm looking forward to testing & the previews but don't wanna screw up my live profile. Any tips or good-to-knows are much appreciated.

Test server is more laggy and matches take longer to find.

Neither account will interact with each other. The first time you load the test version you have to trust Pixo as a developer to get it to run (at least in my case). When you get onto the test server, you have to set up your account (name change, buy 5 slots) - you get 50K of gold so spend it wisely. Gold and WSP bots/weps cost gold...silver bots and weps are free. Everything is max so you don't have to bother upgrading anything. The problem is that everything is max so it is hard to get a feel for anything other than top tier type play....putting light bots and most light weps into that slaughter fest will give you the impression that they are useless so just keep that in mind. I spend a number of matches running the new test items...and then I make sure I keep enough gold on hand to test some new max bot/wep set ups for my normal account. And just remember, every minute you spend on the test server as a max player blasting other max players is one less minute you are on your normal account with your light/medium bot line up being blasted by that same type of max player for real. Too true. I ran my lowest level bots and weapons last night on Live, L1 Patton, with PINs etc.....and still ended up V maxed Reds. 「whiskey tango foxtrot」 Pix?  Must....Stay....calm. |

Much calmer now. 19k is total damage. Quite boring really. Lots of people standing around firing every type of missile at each other. But someone was running a Carnage Ancile Thunder that missiles just couldn't get through. Very funny. It took a plasma Gal about 10 secs to kill it, of course. And top score was, posted below, hopefully not a sign of things to come.  |

Here's a video of new heavy spiral weapons. Type 2 seems to be the most useful. I don't like the idea of more camping weapons, but they have already created 3D models for these weapons it seems.

Oh man, I am soooo late with this. 'Tis flu season around here...
Here's my advice for folks that are new to the test servers:
You'll start off with 50K Au.
Bots and Guns that normally cost Ag will cost nothing.
Bots and Guns that cost WSP will cost Au instead.
Things that need Au to buy are significantly reduced, including extra slots.
There is no experience and everything is already unlocked.
All bots and weapons are already maxed, no need to upgrade.
My typical startup path is: Rename > Turn on Target Lock > Buy 5 slots > buy 1 each of whatever new bots are being tested and arm them > Buy meta bot builds > Destroy things until I get a clan invite > Destroy even more things.
The test server is also a great opportunity to test out experimental setups, and get real battle experience with your build ideas for when you get to gold and above tiers back in the real game. Since all equipment is auto-maxed, EVERYTHING is about skill and proper squad tactics, so good chances to learn new skill sets.
This does mean that light and medium bots are automatically out-classed by heavy bots, so don't let that frustrate you.

Looking forward to it; I like the idea of heavy spirals, provided they don't have a long range; akin to having a mobile mine layer to deter Lancelot and the like.
Of course; when I can actually afford a Lancelot; I'll curse the day they created such a thing. See you guys on the field!

Arggg, these Heavy Spirals are not what this game needs. I know it's just a test, but these things don't even require you to move much in order to reach a decent firing position.
I sense my time on this game will come to and end if this much mid-range is added on top of what is already out there.
The good thing is that the game will get easier to just put down and walk away from.

The good thing is that the game will get easier to just put down and walk away from. Springfield was absolutely terrible. 100% agreed the game does not need any implementation of these. The counter to a Trident Fury should not be something even more of an "easy button." |

Anybody else notice that the bots aren't pivoting the same way anymore? I noticed it especially when using a Rhino, just after dropping it's shield and trying to moving straight backwards, my Rhino did some kind of shuffle dance to get it's legs orientated in the opposite direction. Further testing help me notice a similar effect, but less pronounced, with a Carnage.

I could go for a heavy and medium. You could only mount 1 per bot, and it would come with a fixed number of rounds - 3-4.
