I am basically carrying every single game with an ADR of 500k damage.
Are Silver-Golden players that dumb in Asia, i'm playing from New Zealand and I get connected to Asian servers. They literally camp spawn whole game with their Nartarshas w/ zenits, or 「meow」 out by playing back.
Another thing, is that auto lock on keeps on switching from one to another. For example I am using the trebuchet, locked on someone and it switches to someone else behind a rock. Triggers the 「fluffernutter」 outta me man.

Are you iOS? I have a smurf account in iOS gold 2 and opening with Zenit Noricum Natasha’s is super common there, and they stay in that at spawn the whole battle even if they have better bots. In a game on Moon the reds opened with 3 of those Natashas. Boy did the screen shake but the blues were all fighters and we had all beacons in 3 minutes. I lose just as many when the blues do this. I don’t get it, you’d think they’d get bored or realize they’re not doing much.
In my main account in iOS diamond 1 it doesn’t happen nearly as often, but does sometimes. More often it’s Trebuchets and Gekkos but at least they move around the battlefield.
Also, I play mostly in the wee hours on the US Pacific coast and see a lot of Asian names. Don’t know if they are actually in Asia though. But the players that do this aren’t limited to those Asian named ones.

Yup IOS, and from that region are ALOT of pay to winners. They still perform terrible, compared to me whos just been relying on the grind.

Those players probably aren't stupid, just crafty. They are tanking. If you meet them on their clubbing mode, they'll tear the reds a few new ones.
Also, Zenit-Nori are recommended setups so many new players get duped into playing them
Talking about Android btw.

I agree. There may be a higher propensity for expenditure compared to other areas. My experience though (if a couple of years counts) is that I've seen both great and not so great moments by a lot of players. There certainly is enough variation in players to put forethought before making generalizations.

Blame Pix for encouraging this behavior by buffing noricums and zenits. Pixonic are Idiots.

Sorry but if I was only getting 1-3 kills a match, i'd surely find another setup.

The weapons reds use are at least level10(while testing Noricums). Keep in mind the travel time for noricums, it isn't instant like...all other weapons(even rockets have quite the speed and Hydras have homing). I respect a skilled noricum user more than any other weapon user tbh due to the immense skill required. Then again, that's just my view.

I mean I understand what you are trying to say about them being stronger and taking skill but it doesn't help a team out very much. I also feel like, by sitting and camping with a Nori-Patton for the whole match, one would be sacrificing a lot MORE kills and damage they could be getting with other setups. Like, if one is not going to help their team cap and/or defend beacons, at least use something more damaging... Also, kills don't equal damage. One could finish off 3 bots, recieve the kills and only do 50k damage. Just my opinion.

This is helped in no small part by Pix's asinine insistence on rewarding damage disproportionately. No, even an experienced and skilled zenit user will never get top damage, but guess what? All of a sudden all those snipers on canyon and yamantau that are chewing your beacon runners and knife-fighters to pieces are forced to move and find cover from an enemy they likely can't fight back against, giving your front line some breathing room and room to maneuver. No, this will likely never be a "meta" weapon, since it's of little use against Anicilots and Haechis up in the whale-leagues, but in the ones where you'll see Butches obliterating your comrades' Griffins, it can be a lifesaver if the pilot knows how to lead a target (most don't, which is why this weapon has such a terrible reputation).

It might be a shared responsibility by all squad members, but still I do prefer some raining down hell on beacons. It's a support role, one doesn't expect to get assault level damage. Believe me, A Noricum-Patton is the best 600-300m attack bot. A set of level 5 noricums can shave off a huge chunk of health even from a heavy bot. A maxed one? Outright kills a light and med. Try it once, at 400-300m, few weapons can cause so much destruction little as little risk.

Ug, that’s probably been there for 3 years. It needs updating because the game has changed so much but they probably need to push the Zenit someplace.

Yes, there is an effective use but the problem is when 2 or more spawn in Zenit/Nori and stay in it for the entire battle. When their task is done then move on, but it rarely happens

You obviously missed my point. It’s not damage numbers. It’s about being a good teammate and trying to win. It’s about protecting beacons. Noricuns aren’t gonna cut it. If enemy’s are about to cap a crucial beacon we need to win, what are Noricums gonna do about it? Not a damn thing. So my point was that if I’m gonna have a sniper/camper on my team, I’d hope they’re packing something that can help quickly take out a red who’s on one of our beacons. I can only speak for myself, but I’d much rather deal with the sniper fire on the enemy team than have bots on my own team running Noricums, OR Zenits or ANY sniper gear for that matter. At the same time though, I don’t mind having a sniper here and there on my team as long as there’s not too many & they know when to ditch it and spawn something else. I’d also prefer them have a clear shot at our own beacons. Especially crucial ones like center on maps like Canyon, Yam & SF. Holding our own beacons should take priority over everything else, including taking out other snipers. EDIT: I cleaned up my post a little cause as I re-read it I realized it came off as pretty rude and I’m not trying to be. Also I have run Noricums. Before and after the buff. I could lead targets just fine and I did get a little enjoyment out of it but not for long because I’d end up ditching it to go save a beacon. I’m not kidding. I do the same thing in my Zarnage. That’s why I changed my status to what it is the other night.

I will add too, that a lot of us tend to forget that this is a game and should be played for fun. As you can see by my last few posts in this thread, I’m certainly among the guilty ?.
If one enjoys and wants to use Noricums or Zenits or any weapons for that matter, ?poo place?s such as myself should not stop them.
That doesn’t mean that it’s not going to bother me when I’m playing hard to win though. I’m pretty quick to judge teammates after a loss and place blame where I see fit. ?
It’s a character defect I can call my own. One that carries over from RL. I’m a pretty intense person. I put my all into EVERYTHING I do - big or small. Great in certain situations but likely the cause of 95% of my stress. I get easily frustrated with people that I feel are not doing the same and I’m too quick to label them as “careless” and “lazy”. But they may be at peace with themselves while I am not. I can’t change my values but I can work to change my perception. Easier said than done.
Self reflection complete. Back to game. ?

I play on the Asian servers (iOS) most of the time and I'm just "across the ditch" from you. I don't think they are dumb, most are just being cagey. They're normally tanking or fading and it happens that much it is now a common occurrence. Occasionally, depending on time of day, I find I must be on the European servers (given the names and no Asian letters/characters) and the gameplay is vastly different and more competitive. Now that we are coming up to an event the incidence is worse and will continue unfortunately until the event is in full swing.
I haven't had a big problem with autolock except when there are players close together and it always seems to target the furthest.
