New art contest, as requested!
Create your own original War Robots comics (in English). Win and get:
— Your comics published in the first compilation of War Robots comics
— Your own comic book signed by War Robots artists
— Inquisitor ?
duration: OCTOBER 12th - 29th
SEND TO: contest@pixonic.com with a subject line "EN War Robots Comic Contest"
(you can send several works)
It's pretty much a guarantee that more than half of the submissions will be satirical pieces. What are your thoughts on this?

I appreciate them doing this, but they’re just asking to sift through hours of mockery. I’m all for making fun of Pixo, but just as a warning, guys, PLEASE do not send satire to them. If their inboxes get spammed with criticism they might not do contests anymore, and that would be a shame because their contests are actually pretty cool.

Is there an official War Robots background that we will have to work around? One minute I see religious dictatorships (inquisitor bots) and then next I see it's a competitive sport.

Go read the comments on their FB page about this contest.
Its pretty clear the community is about to walk out, this is no joke, its comment after comment of telling them to fix the game instead of doing drawings, thats saying it nicely, if they didnt know we was pissed they know now.
The only question is will they actually fix the game or let it collapse, regardless of what they do this has hurt them bad, their rank on play store is steadily going down and people leaving in groups already.

I'm not a good artist but I do have a story line.
Ice castle, Pixonic HQ
Large boardroom lit up with mediaval chandeliers converted to LED to save costs
CEO "We need to make more money out of the players. The verterans have been hoarding gold, silver and workshop points and are no longer spending money. Any ideas?"
Marketing goblin: "Let us introduce new robots. We make them really powerful. We let players use them on the test server so that they see how good they are and they spread the word around. Make players WANT them. Show them little trailers, let your stooges make youtube videos about them! Keep them hanging around for months, peak their interest And then, introduce them in an event - tokens. Make them buy tokens. Many players will just keep opening chests until they get these robots. Once the veterans start losing to the new bots, they will just spend money like crazy to get them"
Ceo: "Sounds like an idea to me, Devs?"
Lord snake developer dressed in leather armour " Even better, make them buy PARTS of robots! That way, we can make even more money!"
CEO with eyes turning green "Even better idea!"
They all slap each others' back and then go out and drink themselves silly"
