Every time that players find a new strategy to use in the game there are folks that complain about it.Now you must know that creating new strategies needs the brain and also counter playing them needs the brain too. I hate that every time the Developers implement new punishment for using strategy.This is a game, which means having fun.

For instance, giving 10 seconds delay to players who farm medal of capture. I was not sure about it but when I decided to stop capping beacons magically the delay disappeared.Every skilled player knows that beacons are the key to win.So now I am an eagle-eyed warrior who shoots from the horizon.

So... if you intend to cap beacons you get a delay, but if you intend to get lots of damage... no delay? How does it know ahead of time what you plan to do so that you get no delay? Feels like something out of Minority Report... Maybe we are Guinea Pigs for the upcoming 1 world order and they are testing thought reading here? Those pesky Ruskies, always causing trouble! (Just joking please don't take offence!) Seriously though... I am curious as to how you determined this? Were you changing hangar setups back and forth between Capping and Damage hangars and only when you had a Capper hangar you had the delay? OR something different?

I said clear but it seems that it was not. This punishment works like LQ but a little bit different. If a player gets the medal of capture many times in a row he/she gets a 10 seconds delay each battle until that row of many medals of capture breaks.I did not say changing hangar matter. changing behavior matters. That's it. Clear as crystal.

I've read other threads calling it a glitch. You are saying that "glitch" delay at the beginning is because you won too many MoC through continuous games? Besides speculation on trial and error can we prove this, cause that's just flat out a dumb move by Pix if they implemented that.

I get delays almost every game, and I’m a beacon hating scumbag who plays beacon rush almost exclusively. I can’t remember the last time I got MoC, actually. I do tie a lot but I rarely win those ties.

I feel like this could be true, last month all i did was cap beacons and every game i had the start up delay+ disconnects whereas now i go full dmg i have no delay at all still have lag tho. I average 108mb down so i know the lag isnt from my side. Either that or pix is just got poop servers

Beacon runners already get punished by getting the fewest keys, silver, and ranking points (although that last one is more of a blessing, honestly).

One thing, or I should say one of the few things I liked about PvP in Old Republic is that they award medals/commendations based on a LOT of different actions that help your team. You can earn defensive awards even for assist kills, shielding other players, or even just camping and defending an objective, because shockingly enough, all of that that helps your team.
