Please tell Minski to talk to many Champion pilots of what's viable and what's not. The Legends League represents the most active Wallet Warrior group, not the usual games, which are solo games with 4-5 Dashers in total of all 12 pilots.
Looking at the analysis, there was one thing that was just strikingly wrong. "Carnage dropped from 4% to 0.8%, and is no longer viable at the top level." and "Galahad, Carnage, Fury, Butch, Gareth, Doc, Rogatka and Rhino are seemingly no longer viable at the top level." Alright. Just because no Legends use Carnages doesn't make it not viable at the top level play. As a Champion Leagued player, I can definitely say that the Carnage, Thunder and Zeus, is still a very good and viable option in Champs. The Rhino and the Rog are the poor man's Kumiho for beacons at the start of the match and possibly the few minutes after the initial beacon caps. Although you won't be seeing much Butches in Beacon Rush, there are usually around in Domination. Same goes for the Fury.
There's only so much data that the Legends can give you; and it's the data of the big money spenders. I'd suggest that if Minski wants to provide a detailed analysis in Champions and what's viable and what's not, squad with a Champion Leagued buddy and collect the information on the opposing team's hangars.

Excellent analysis by the way. The truth usually hurts and this is no exception. I knew Dashes were the new endgame bots but seeing the statistics pisses me off even more. So sad, So true. It's worth a read if you can get there? As of now, it's the first article on mechspectrum.comShould be ONE of the first for a few days probably.

Thanks, fixed it. It was looking for "I'm a spambot" since that country is named in some of the spam stuff, but whatever mod or admin added it forgot to check the "exact match" button.

Hi - firstly thanks for the feedback - much appreciated. You make a very good point that the Legends league likely spends heavily on bots and weapons in order to maintain their status and continue to compete. This, in essence, is the point being made: that at the very top level of the game (the Legends league - which is the focus of the analysis), there are bots and weapons that just aren't being used any more. And the higher you rise in the Champion domain (which is slightly outside the focus of the article), the same is true. I do agree that there are plenty of players in the wider Champions community that do not use a dash bot although from my analysis in-game of champ league squads, whilst running with Champ league squads (as you suggested), all of the big clans run large populations of dash bots (e.g. NOOB, CDXX, HEAT, BEER, VICE, HOOD, CARTEL, and many others that I have missed out - no disrespect). I was also just sent a screenshot of an Expert league player who just came out of a game against Experts/Masters/Champions who had 23 (!) Dash bots between them.
You also make an excellent point that players may choose different hangers for different types of game (Domination or Beacon Rush). From the data available on the wider Legends league this sadly wasn't possible to analyse.
Thanks again for your comments, and if you have any good suggestions for a future experiment or focus, I'm always interested to hear people's thought. Cheers!

Hi xXrobotrippinXx , Thanks very much for the feedback. It was pretty illuminating poking around in the Legends league. This quote from a respected top champ league player (yes, even some champ league players with dash bots are not fans of the turn the game has made) is typical of the feedback I've been gathering from players at all levels, geographies, and levels of activity across the War Robots forums. Sad but true.
