People change their name enough as it is. 500 au is reasonable, considering most only change their name once.

I agree with OP.... 500 au is a daft amount just to change your screen name ...
Especially when you get rewarded for it early on ... But it doesn't tell you it will cost you a fortune to change it again

Even if you only do daily tasks its like 6 or 7 days.
I think it should be more, just to punish the douches who pick names that get banned...

I'm Pilot Dredd77 in game, but knowing what I know now "Pilot" is part of the name not a title. I assumed it was a title and left it there, though I'd rather be Dredd77 |

I think we need a significant disincentive from changing names.
Especially in clans etc. I like to know who I am talking to from week to week.

I used to play DC Universe it also cost the equivalent of gold to do a name change, however if you chose an inappropriate name they would change it to something like rainbowunicorn15 and then not even let you pay money to change it. |
