Look, I get it. Pix are making outrageous offers on their in-game transactions and catering to the whales, not fixing the MM, etc.
But that doesn't mean we can't act civil. Making potential threats towards Pixonic HQ or encouraging harassment towards their employees is NOT cool. I came to this forum six months ago to be part of a community of a mobile game I happened to get hooked on, and up until the last day or two it's been mostly civilized. The last thing I want to see is this place degenerate into another 4chan.
I know we're all upset with their price gouging, and I don't approve of it any more than you do. But for chrissake have some decency.
Carry on.

Prices are ridiculous. It morphed into a Casino game and not for a younger audience. I love the old Walking War Robots.

The best way to get pix to change is to convince them there is another way to achieve their goals without souring the relationship with players. There's another thread somewhere (sorry i still havent figured out how to link). I encourage people to post what they're willing to contribute to help pix realize this.

OP - very true. There is so much mud-slinging on the forum right now and some of it may be well deserved. But let us be dignified Robo-Samurai and not sully ourselves with petty details and insults.
Despite all the faults the game can still be fun and a laugh for a few minutes a day. Focus on the stuff worth focusing on - think of all the time you have invested so far and continue to enjoy yourselves.

「gosh darn 」 right, infraviolet. What Pixonic is doin' is pretty questionable and I dont agree with it, or the direction the game is headed. That being said... Some of y'all are acting like twelve year olds who's parents just stopped monitoring their internet activity. Grow the ?firetruck? up. Edit: If this applies to you, own it. If not, disregard.

Great sentiment. It would be great if everyone took this view to heart. Unfortunately, we at present find ourselves in a situation where Pixonic simply doesn't respond to civilized discourse. Case in point: Lloyd DeMar. Lloyd had an unparalleled ability to clearly and concisely point out flaws and did so in a polite and respectful manner. He and others like him were totally ignored. While the behaviors you describe are unseemly, they also happen to be the natural progression of human response to a situation like this. When civilized discourse fails, what's left?

If you are talking about the thread where we were discussing Anna, no one, as far as I know, has made contact with her or said anything to her or encouraged anyone else to do so. It was harmless joking that I'm sure she has no idea about. I saw nothing in that thread that was there to purposefully harass others or encourage such behavior. Just finding something to joke about in turbulent times. If you are talking about something else then I missed it.

While the behaviors you describe are unseemly, they also happen to be the natural progression of human response to a situation like this. When civilized discourse fails, what's left? Not sure if you saw the thread yesterday where someone posted the address along with the street map of Pixonic HQ in Moscow and encouraged a "takeover". Then the thread got deleted. It is entirely up to players if they want to participate in the BM or the side deals, however unreasonable the offers might be. But bear in mind this is a recreational product. Whether or not players choose to participate is strictly on their own volition, and there is no risk of danger either way. Pixonic aren't like the infamous "pharma bro" Martin Shkreli, who's guilty of price gouging on a product that was actually necessary to stay alive. As for Anna, no, it wasn't outright harassment. But the trends I've seen there can easily tempt some of the stalkers (not the stealth bot) out there, which could potentially encourage a more insidious form of harassment (i.e. creepin'). So that's why I felt like it needed to be addressed. And I apologize for coming off as some morality police wannabe. But if I witness any kind of malicious intent, I'm quick to call it out. As for all the satire with the avatar changes, memes, and videos, I have no problem with. There's no harm in having a little fun, as it would be boring otherwise. IMO that's the right way to vent our frustrations.

I didn't see the thread, but unless it was encouraging violence, I don't see the problem. So a flash mob shows up in the lobby at Pixonic HQ... so what? The problem I have with your stance is that you and I may be able to make the choice when it comes to those purchases, but the numerous addicts that play this game DO NOT. People who have this problem are not unlike any other addict, but unlike other addictions Pixonic as the peddler is viewed as a "respectable" business and goes about exploiting their addicts unimpeded by law or regulation of any kind. If you want to talk about malicious intent, look no further than the architects of the monetization scheme Pixonic is using. Granted, they are not the only company out there doing it, but that doesn't make it any less despicable. None of this is a secret and as far as I am concerned, Apple is just as culpable for enabling this behavior. If I were a judge, I'd be praying for a class action lawsuit to land in my courtroom, but with the deep pockets of these companies that won't happen. Justice is expensive these days and the guy with the most money is the one who gets it. That being said, I stand by what I said. You don't hear anyone complaining about drug dealers being harassed... and that's a reasonable standard by which to judge Pixonic.
