On iOS and definitly up for this at some point if it gets going.
Am on discord, but have never used it for comms etc. Would take me about a week to have a half decent 6/6 hanger. On GMT timezone.

with no limitations of bots and weapons i can see what will happen.
first drop:
A full squad of pin tulumbas griffins
second drop:
A full squad of cappers (stalker with ecus...)
Match pretty much over at that point...
Please introduce some sort of limitation (for example max 2 dashes, or max 2 bots of the same kind in general) or this isn't going to be fun...

Match pretty much over at that point... Please introduce some sort of limitation (for example max 2 dashes, or max 2 bots of the same kind in general) or this isn't going to be fun... This first outing will be interesting. I'll have a 6/6 DB Griff by the weekend. Everything else will be hodgepodge 6/5 and 5/6 load outs. I've put my other upgrades on hold until I have a full 6/6 bot/weapon hangar. Should be at full 6/6 strength by next weekend though. |

I've got 3-4 hangers appropriate for the 6 Pack Challenge. Three with 5 slots and one with 4 slots. Will there be slot # specific matches as well? Like all 4 slot matches or all 5 slot matches? Would make it less lopsided in some cases.

If you have 5 bots, you're stuck using them.
Unless an agreement is made beforehand on only using four of five (or three, etc. Just an example) and everyone can be trusted to stick to it.

Oh no, as Paps just said, if you have five slots you're stuck with five slots. It's too bad we can't shut one or more off and also choose between upgrade levels on the machines and equipment that we have already upgraded. Be nice to be able to turn down the upgrades for events like this so that we don't have to build specific machines for it out of other items in our inventories. I meant that I have multiple profiles that I use, and three of those that I can use for the event have five slots and one of them only has four slots. Different profiles, different player levels. @thread So I was wondering if there was going to be a 6 Pack Challenge that was hanger size specific or if players are going to mix their teams with different hanger sizes? That wasn't specified for the upcoming event and I'm only assuming that mixed hanger teams are going to be the practice. I noted that Shaolin Rogue has a 6/6 only, four slot hanger with his =Serenity= profile that I'm also assuming that he will be using in the event. Hanger sizes might be a factor to look into as it can effect the number of robots available to each team. Since we're all going to be using the same level of upgrades shouldn't everyone also have the same number of robots available to them to keep it a completely level arena? Not being critical, it's just a thought. |

Okay, thanks for clarifying. I'm very far from being a journeyman player (to be honest, I'm a lousy player), so please indulge my questions. As I said, historically I've been a lone wolf, not doing very much squadding, and have never been in a clan. This will all be uncharted waters for me. I finally got Discord set up last night. I did some texting with Diablo86 this morning about possibly squadding with him this weekend, but no verbal chatting. Other than that, this is all new to me. I want to clarify that the main reason why I don't use verbal chat as a rule, is because I play at home or at work, and usually around other people. My verbal discussions would disturb them, so if I communicate live, I usually do it through type chat. I'm hoping that by going back to the basics (playing with lower level bots and weapons) with some veterans, I can learn different ways of fighting for when I go back to playing at higher levels. At Android Diamond III for the past several weeks, I'm so tired of meching out after only three or four minutes. I do it so consistently, it can't just be my hangar. It's not every match, but it seems I do more than my fair share of meching out. Although my hangar isn't overpowering (most of my bots are 9, running middle and heavy hardpoint 10, and light hardpoint 11 weapons, I find myself meching out to red teams sometimes with players having hangars consisting of 4 bots with 7/8 load outs. They must be pretty good, because some of them are Diamond I and II, but sometimes they're only Gold I or II. Do they use voodoo to win, or do I really suck that bad? Anyway, I hope to find out by going back to the basics. Your patience and tutelage would be most appreciated. |

League is a 4 week cycle - Round 1 matches will have 7 days to be played, no set times, so its pretty flexible
Every month the league will be as follows:
Week 1 -Team formation and registration
Week 2 - 1st round matches to take place and completed in 7 days
Week 3- Winners of week one move on to play each other and again have 7 days to complete the matches
Week 4 The Championship match takes place at an agreed time for both teams (Live streamed)
Top 4 teams receive points
Rinse and repeat

I think it's a great idea, but I'd like to see it tweaked to make light robots more viable. Like, light robots up to 9/9, medium robots up to 7/7, heavy robots up to 6/6. No "components" stuff allowed, of course. Another possible restriction would be AG and WSP only. Bring on the Cossack dogfights  Main reason is that a lot of players will have few gold robots/weapons, and those will be all upgraded. So few players will have gold robots and weapons that fit the league, giving them an advantage. |

If anyone were interested, get going on Facebook game room now and post here. Would take longer than pure platform arenas, but is really easy with just a little time. Gameroom doesnt exist for Mac yet. |

 6 Pack League Rules: 1. Level 6 bots and weapons at 6 or below - Mk1 only Yes. Actually I think some limitations are in order to make the 6 Pack hanger accessible to casual players. Restriction levels: Ag, Ag/WSP, Ag/Au/WSP, Unlimited. Hopefully, but more often would be better. Yes. Additionally I think that in the interest of skill based playing and hanger diversity it would be good to limit the hanger. My suggestion is two part with 1) unique bots: no two bots in your hanger alike and 2) only two heavy bots.
