Basically that... We have roughly the same hangar ... I changed my bots out to destriers etc to match as close as possible... Bot levels the same (1s &2s) ... Weapon levels the same ... Both have 4 slots We press start battle together but can't seem to end up in same game
Both on android by the way... Tried adding him as a friend under Google ... But nothing appears in the friends screen in the game... Both logged into Goole ID
Any advice?
This element in the game seems really clunky ... Don't really want to have to create a clan to make it work...

Add each other through Facebook and connect your FB accounts to War Robots.

The other two alternatives are:
*Both join the same clan. *Form a clan (expensive option)

Add each other through Facebook and connect your FB accounts to War Robots. Yeah.... He doesn't do farceberk... Joining the same clan might work ... Now have to find a clan that wants us both ...just to allow us to hook up the games... And yes 1500 gold to set up a new clan is expensive in gold terms just to do something that should be so simple

How does the squad invite work? Can't you specify people there? I've been invited to squads by random people before (probably beat them up in a random game, or were on my team and we had good coordination).

Well, then your chances of ending up together are very slim. You might even have a better chance of fighting AGAINST him. LOL...
In any case, the best 2 ways have been told to you. It is now up to your friend if he's willing to even create an FB account just for this game, which many have done.

You can only squad with people on your friends list or people who you recently have battled with or against (Battle History) Or folks who are in your clan.

This is something I would like to see Pix address. I enjoy playing with my son, but he is unable to play enough to stay in a clan.

Basically a dummy account. He can use it in other games too which use Facebook as an alternative to Play Games and Game Center for cloud save.

This is something I would like to see Pix address. I enjoy playing with my son, but he is unable to play enough to stay in a clan. Sadly, pix can't change the fact that clans don't want certain people. Your best option is to track down and join a laid back clan, or create your own, whether it be by buying the gold or farming for it.

Well, we've done it! Created 2 dummy facebook profiles, just for gaming - linked to each other... and now appear in the friends list ... It is a weak part of the whole squad thing within War Robots ...
Why 1500Au to create a clan? Anyway - it's done now - thanks for the suggestions
