I've been lurking these forums for a while. Any time I have a question about the game I come here so they have been useful.
I've become a big fan of this game. One reason is my 7 year old son plays too so we play each other's games sometimes since our hangars are different. It's nice to have a common thing that's fun to do.
In the past I've been big into the Infinity Blade trilogy and Mortal Kombat X. I have found that those games just get so repetitive which is where this game comes in. I love that the matches change each time you play so you don't really get bored.
Anyway, I have 5 slots open, level 29, and have found myself in the lower gold league. All my bots that I use are level 7. Most of the equipment I use is level 6/7. Working on leveling them all to 7.
I'm interested in joining a clan. I reached out and submitted a request to Aurora Nova but might be interested in others.
Oh I am UNbecoming896 on Android but I play iOS too. Pilot CrazyJ there...shh don't tell anyone.

Welcome to the forums! Glad you joined. So since you've been lurking you are already familiar with our abbreviations and everything, I'd assume? DB, PDB, RDB, BM,RM, LQ, etc..?
Feel free to jump right in and post away. If you need help with anything, that's what we're here for, you joined at s pretty crazy time with this new jaw dropping update... And it hasn't even hit iOS yet.

Yeah my son has been, impatiently, waiting for the iOS update. Still need to figure out how to get components.
I know most of those acronyms but there are a few I'll need to get straight.

Hello unbecoming896 and welcome. Components you can either buy from the stores using real moolah or else you can win them in the black market (aptly named since you can get fleeced in there) The lower chests give you miserable low value components and the silver and gold chests can give you higher level components. |

Ugh I was hoping components would be more readily available then just the black market or real $.

unbecoming896 , you sound like the perfect candidate for the Nitro Family. We are all mature and friendly players with 3 clans so there is alway someone of your caliber online to play with. Some us spend more time on discord just cutting up because that's how much fun we have. We also do periodic contests with real prizes and offer just as much friendly advice as if you were on the forum itself.

Is Discord chat a separate app? I keep seeing it mentioned but not really sure what it is.

Hello unbecoming896. In the Nitroglycerin family of clans you would specifically be looking at Glycerin Squad, which we have set up for Gold Leaguers.
Yes, Discord is a separate app. We have lively game discussion and chat there, and Discord can also be used for in-battle communications.

Hey I play mortal kombat X also and that game is good if you have playstation version , you cannot say MKX is repetitive as they bring new characters every now and then . MKX is a game which can give you variety and relax play which you will enjoy . In fact that game I have now more than 2 years and have spend some 100 $ which I feel good , whereas to this money wh0re pixo I have spend around 1$ which I now regret spending . Note: don't fell into pixo trap of getting those useless bots instead buy a playstation2 which you will cherish !! |

I've been playing MKX since it came out. I have every challenge character they've released. That's the only thing that keeps it interesting. But faction wars have been ruined due to hackers and really sapped the fun of the game for me.
When I say repetitive I just mean all there really is is faction wars. All battles maps complete. Shao Khans tower is complete. I skip all but the last of all the challenge towers, even that is too easy. Add the hacking of FW and there just isn't really anything left to play for.
Plus it started crashing on me so not sure what's up with that.
