So I thought Id add this to rants because Im a little frustrated but wanted to get advice or feedback since it seems as though many here dont have the same issues I do ( or maybe they do ). I played this game a year or so ago and loved it, but got a little frustrated when low level play was dominated by magnum geps, and top level play was dominated by thunder orkan boas. After a year or so break a few friends told me to pick it back up again so I did, and for the first few weeks I LOVED the changes and updates. After working my way up the leagues a bit that is starting to change though. first my hangar consists of level 9 bots for the most part, with level 10 weapons. Im working on upgrading but it takes time. Im currently in expert league, which I feel may be too high, but Im always going to try to win. it seems as though the matchmaking is either completely broken, or starting at diamond, attempts to get you to spend money by basically taking a huge dump on you. Just about EVERY game Im facing hordes of ancile taran ancile lancelots, and multiple dash bots who basically delete everything in my hangar the second they look my direction. On larger maps I basically leave the spawn with half health from a gekko patton or furies with trebuchets. I face full squads of wallet warrior, champion level players with maxxed hangars consisting of multiple dash bots and ancile lances, and while I understand MM cant always find another squad to match I find it extremely unfair to match my team of random diamond/expert players against them. as an example, I played four games just now, and the results of two are below. first game, enemy team ( a squad ) spawned 5 lances, four with anciles, and basically rolled in pairs. at the start two ancile lances and a dash bot went straight for our spawn, and basically spawn killed us as it took myself and two teammates 2-3 bots to drop all of those shields just to damage them. ( note the time on images, they were all spawned at once ) Second game was another full clan ( in the city map ), this time 3 players spawned dash bots, two more ancile lances. they basically steamrolled us, pushed us into the spawn and spawn killed us until the game ended. This happens A LOT. Maybe it gets better when you max your hangar? To be honest Im not sure Im willing to spend the time to max things out if this is just how things are. fighting endless hordes of ancile lances is just boring to be honest. there is no variety, just ancile lances and rdb griffins. Most games dont even involve strategy, just overwhelming the other team w dash bots and ancilots. Is that just how the game is played now? if so then I guess we are back to the same reasons I quit in the first place and Ill be stuck finding yet another game to play. Does it get better? Ive tried squadding with people but that just makes things worse, as we are almost guaranteed to face a maxxed champs squad.

Didnt read the whole thing but i have a similar issue. Im in expert 3, sometimes going back and forth between there and diamond 1, but theyre putting FULL level 12 hangers against me. I have barely all level 9 weapons and bots. But i dont mind, thanks to skill i still kick 「bum-bum」, but if be kicking even more 「bum-bum」 the game didnt lag so damn much.
The lag is the worst enemy on the field!

Welcome back. Sorry you are hitting a wall right now. Are you on iOS? A 9/10 hangar sounds about right for iOS expert i believe. What is your hangar looking like in terms of splash vs plasma, and long range vs close range? Knowing what you are working with would be helpful. Ancilots are a big pain to deal with in bunches, as are Orkan Haechis, but with the standard quality builds you can still be competitive. Death buttons, RDBs, Thunder Carnage, Thunder Pinata Leo, Punisher Griff, and Plasma Griff can still wreck some face.
Going solo should give you better odds than squadding up. Domination mode typically has weaker reds than Beacon Rush. Just some of my observations. Cheers.

I'm having similar problems but not at all in the same volume as you. I do have matches where I'm (D2, L8 bot/L8/9 weapons) facing L10/11 even 12 sometimes and get handed. Not sure what to suggest for you but I just go all out fast bots and play capper when I'm in a batch of miss match games. It does tend to sort itself out and I hope if you stay at it that it does for you also. Sounds like you're really getting it bad though. Hope someone can help.

Speaking from iOS expert I can say you are correct, mostly, just one thing to add - in Domination game is INFESTED with snipers. So you MUST have either good shield runner to get to them and show their place (Rhino, Bulgasari, Galahad or just ECU bot), or get a sniper yourself. Or anti-sniper. Molots are doing pretty decent job in that department, you just need to know two facts: 1) You MUST force enemy Treb sniper to keep on shooting at you; being hit by Treb every 3 sec adds up to 7,360 damage in 23 seconds, but being hit ONCE in 23 seconds (full charge) drain 18,400. Pretty similar thing going on with Gekkos, it's better to be hit by Gekkos on reload, than to hide for 10-20 seconds and then eat up full damage. 2) There is usually an obstacle that you can use to nullify Gekko\Treb fire aimed at you. P.s. and I still being haunted by idea that Zenit-Noricum is the best anti-sniper weaponry, but I'll keep it to myself for now.

The game resumed just after each bot died. Sometimes it's a lil frustrating.

Im lvl 9 going up against lvl 12, and i CAN win, but i need every shot possible to hit the mark, yet that becomes impossible when the damn robots are teleporting. So i think ill wait till it teleports, but then it turns out once it has teleported, ive lost a bunch of hp and its too late to really foght back, because apparently the whole time i waited he was shooting at me. Yet if i shoot at the robot before it teleports, theres no damage done. Just rename the game telebots

I can still win if the enemy bots are similar to my lvl, but if its lvl 12 bots then im screwed unless theres a lvl 12 player on my team. The lag could be a difference between winning or losing. I only have 5 bots, if i lose 2 to lag, then its pretty much too late

Just trying to see the upside in something that I and obviously others find trying to say the least. Happy hunting.

I've been trying to wait until they get distracted or they burn out the heavier damage before going. Right now with some of my bot levels it can be a huge issue as furies, butches etc with trebs or zeus can pretty much wipe me out in a couple shots. I've actually thought about some zenit/noricom action for dealing with them haha, I just can't stand in one spot and spam like that, I get bored, and in most games if I don't help get beacons we will just end up losing. Domination mode typically has weaker reds than Beacon Rush. Just some of my observations. Cheers. It varies hangar wise. I usually have a RDB griffin and an Orkan Rog in my lineup. I also keep a lance in there, generally with thunder/punishers to deal with taran ancilots ( which is very effective except usually i have to deal with multiple ), but sometimes swap the punishers for tarans. I also keep a second griffin in there, but the loadout changes between Mag/Taran, Punishers, or Molots. Sometimes a DB. ( I only have 2 orkans higher than level 7, in which case I put tarans on the rog ) The 5th slot I rotate between: 1. Gekko / Zeus Leo 2. Thunder pinata leo 3. Aphid patton ( I know its not always the most effective but its my favorite loadout... its fun ) 4. Gekko Patton 5. Double thunder carnage I want to give some of the jap bots a try but they're all low level. My rhino is only level 6 as well. I don't even bother using them because they'll just get deleted until I upgrade them haha.

The lag is the worst enemy on the field! Yeah I feel your pain. Some games I do still do well, and come in the top 3 even when we lose. Part of me is just kind of tired of spending all game just dealing with ancile lances. I'm hoping when I max some weapons they won't be such a pain. Right now my DB griffin just barely drops their ancile and does maybe 10% damage. I mostly get frustrated because you can't even outplay them. I kind of wish they'd either nerf ancile or remove it entirely... if bots are going to have built in shields whats the point? The dash bots are another story all together. I know their intent was to release them slowly to see their impact but that strategy was clearly a massive failure. 1-2 in a game wouldn't be a big deal, they're easy to take out if you're smart. The problem is being matched against multiple players that have full hangars of them when I barely do the damage to take out lesser bots.

And that's why I'm trying to go back to diamond from expert, 「dookie」 is extreme in Expert!

And that's why I'm trying to go back to diamond from expert, ?poo-poo? is extreme in Expert! Haha I've seriously considered it but I don't have it in me to just "give up". I want to win. I don't mind losing and don't expect to win them all, I just wish the odds seemed better. Sometimes I swear the game purposefully tries to keep me at a 50% win ratio or so. Every time I drop to the low 40% range MM seems to improve for a day or so.

However I'll be back to expert once I have level 10 bots and weapons, ATM everything is 9 except for one orkan that is 10. One other thing.. I'm not trying to encourage you to tank or give up (I'm not tanking though!), But the harder you try with your current hanger levels, the worse it'll get, and once you're in expert (if you aren't already), you'll face at least 3 champs every battle!

YThe mm is meant to keep you in the 50's that way you have equal wins and losses, so others do as well. that is the point, but barely works.

Ya know, I almost wouldn't mind this so much if those losing streaks didn't coincide with either win game tasks or a league-level challenge where I need the positive rank points. Yes, I know, don't be preoccupied with leagues, and normally I'm not. But if you just happen to find yourself on that cusp where all you need is a couple more games of positive points to get there, it's a nice accomplishment to get flushed down the toilet because MM decided it was time for your porking.

I feel your pain. I recently sent some feedback to Pix after getting hammered by Ancilots and Koreans. They replied that match making is now changed so that it is matched only by level and that you could get matches from the 3rd tier of the grade above your tier now. Still, I feel that there is little incentive in the game model to use lower tonnage. I am little happier since having an awful streak of being teamed with non cooperative team mates who bumped me back down to diamond 2. Some caps of my hanger and what I was up against.
