So I just made diamond 1. Up untill now MM has been just and fair. Tjen all of a sudden champion, master and expert league pilots appeard. Now my average damage if 540000 plummeted to just above 300000. Anyone else experiencing this?

If you read about Pixonics player pool. Once you hit Diamond League because of the lack of players in the upper leagues you will be mixed in with all the tiers above you. Its been this way for a while now. Welcome to the Big Leagues! Pay attention more, work in pairs, think before you rush in and watch your own team as much as you watch the reds. Happy Hunting!

It's been like that for months. Pixonic made it clear that they weren't going address the MM issue as they released tons of content when they could've spent the time stopping tankers or coding a hangar strength factor in it.
Just play as you normally do, except focus on damage. Damage gets you the plus points in most matches. It's the unfortunate fact, but you just have to play to Pixonic's liking until you are at the endgame meta.

The funny thing for me is that I got really fair MM all the way up to diamond 2. Emiaditlly ehen I hit diamond 1 the MM got crazy. I mean come on! My level 9/10 hangar cant keep up with all them maxed out players.

Maybe. During my stint in diamond 3 and 2 i always paired with people in diamond. Maybe one or two were in gold 1 or expert 3. But this is crazy! Wasn't prepared for the sudden onslaught of heavy hitters.

It is pretty hard at first but it gets better once your hangar is 10/10. By the time you hit 10/11 the difference is negligible.

Given the number of players looking for a match at any given moment, The MM will match all of the same league against each other if there available. If it did this all the time regardless of how many were on, you could wait 30 minutes for a game. |

Hmmm. I was thinking (smell the smoke?)
I seem to remember Pixonic saying sonething about newer pilots in RECRUIT league (or thereabout) being separate from other leages due to them being less experienced.
I too have noticed that starting at Diamond league, there seems to be a mix of Diamond and up Leagues too.
so, at one end theres the lower ecperienced Leagues seperate from the Silver and Gold leagues... Its established that the pilots from Diamond league and up are all together in a spot... a TIER...
Its kinda looking like the older, three Tier system of MM, that many people plead for has returned! At last!!!
well, not exactly I guess because Soneone cant field a full 1/12 hangar and face appropriate players but then again, theres always Tanking and Fading for those that need to make themselves feel better about their ability, to use.

It was bliss and everyone stuck at the Wall moved up so fast. It was around the time I was arguing for superstars, because that's what their league system as implemented creates. As many know, there is a dearth of Masters players. So an Expert player will get matches with Experts and a couple Champions. To reliably go up and gain league points, you have to outscore the Champions consistently. So you need to play like a Champion even though you're in Expert. This creates lots of problems. Either you get stuck in Expert or you move up, up all the way to Champion. There's a huge variance in skills at the Expert tier; you get the Wall. |

My issue with Pix saying there is a lack of players is this...  How can a game with 10 MILLION downloads ever be short on available players? I don't know if this is just Android or all platforms combined and of course plenty of those downloads don't play anymore...but still. |

I did experienced this. In 2 days I've been send back to Gold 2 (yes it is gold 2!!) because I was on losing streak.
Facing those high diamond and expert when I was on Gold 1. Those tanker on blue side does not help at all.
So now I've climb back to Gold 1 and will try knock D3 doors again. Sigh.

I'm close to Expert and my teammates varies from Gold 2 to Champion.
I think it's time Pix replace the current MM system with something else like the Hangar Battle Point system.

And the MM is still putting me in matches with up to E2 players. One game, my entire team was full of tankers. Like supposed D3 players who were 5slot 9/10 or better. I had to take deep breaths after that match getting -22. Sigh. |

May not be as big a pool as you think. 10M downloads Considerably fewer active players Time zone difference League differences Game mode difference (BR, DM) Player in LQ. Fewer players at upper leagues. |

Sigh. tanking has a potential to get out of control despite the LQ and as a direct result of the MM and new OP content especially effecting higher tiers. as mentioned above the D1 will drop to D2 and 3 than the D3 or whatever to Gold and on the list goes. than some D1s will say hang on a minute, if I drop to G1 instead of D3 I will make good gold and silver so I can pop back into D1 and be more competitive. But hang on isn't it even easier in bronze? ahhhhh. what the hack, already dropped so might as well drop a bit more.
I think the system can handle a certain percentage of tankers without any issues and Pix isn't really unhappy about it. However there is a threshold percentage when the system breaks. For example say in bronze the reds have 3 Masters and 3 miscl while the blues have 3 masters and 3 miscl. the 10/12 ancilots fight it out while the L1 Cossack with a molot sits on a roof and shoots one of the ancilots. the Cossack's team mate goes down and two puffs from the tarans send the Cossack up in smoke....... and that's about the time when 「dookie」 hits the fan for everyone.

I've been matched with E3, high diamond and start on losing streak.. And when I got matched with Gold & Silver, those Red consist tankers who trying to climb back the league where supposed they belongs to (based on their hangar level but they're on Silver) |
