Where to start guys...
Some may have noticed that my activity dropped recently. My in-app presence is a shadow of what it was couple of months ago, I'm not a part of Wiki anymore and my in-forum activity is a rather sad residue of what it used to be...even though the Forum was often more fun than the very game itself
I've been playing this game for almost a year now. It had its ups and downs, but now, the once great app has lost its shine in my eyes, to the point where I can quite honestly say that I have no time to play it. To refine this statement: my private life is complicated enough (full time job, kids, etc) to leave little free time for gaming. Over some time I grew more than certain that this time is not well invested if used for War Robots.
Reason for all this being recent game changes, blatantly pushing the game in the p2w direction. It started with failed "social experiments" played by dev (yeah - MM resulting in LQ, tankers, leavers, smurfs, faders...etc), all of it again assisted by flood of glitches and a bag of questionable balance adjustments (hydras, sniper show,...) plus novelties such as dashes, strange new currencies...you name it.
I could try to follow, to force myself to play and see where it all goes to...and so I actually did for few months, even posted some "cheer-ups" to other Members to keep trying...I can see now it was rather all for nothing, because the very essence of the game has slipped away some time ago, giving place to mentioned experiments and dev greed.
Sadly it all stopped making any sense to me and from time perspective I can quite clearly see the game is not really going anywhere / there is no real direction this game is headed.
In short: I got tired waiting for devs to stop playing fools with failed experiments, hit/miss adjustments, making excessive hype, money grabs, etc. All in all it's simply not the fun as it used to be and definitely not even remotely as much fun as many other games can be.
Funny fact here: for the very War Robots purposes I bought recently a new 8-core 10" Samsung (to replace my 10" 4-core Samsung lol) tab to see if I can have more fun with less lag/glitches; it changes nothing though.
So as title may suggest it's not an exact farewell, I'll show up in the app and on the forum every now and then (not logging out yet lol), but in rather occasional way...just to check the direction where the things are going...or rather to see if there is a direction after all lol.
One day maybe, when devs decide they actually do know what to do with this once brilliant app and make it fun again, I'm sure I'll manage to get some time for it.
In the meantime I wish you all the best luck in the app and the real life and thank you (admins of this forum especially) for making it a truly creative and inspiring place!
