I previously thought this email was the most condescending response to a player report... "We are sorry to hear that you have encountered such behavior of the players in our game & we'd like you to accept our most sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused. Let us take a look into this and investigate the actions that you're reporting here today." But NOOOOOOOOOOO, I got a great one today. I know this stupid email is not her fault (at least I hope it's a canned response and she didn't word it herself!) but I'm pissed and she gets to be the target of my frustration. "Hi! My name is Alison and I will be happy to help you today. Thank you for reporting these players. Right now we have a system in place that puts such players into a special queue where they play with each other and the players who leave the battles. If you still see them, it means that they have just started such behaviour and will be separated from responsible players very soon." They've just started this behavior huh? Sure, and I was born yesterday. ??

After a couple of days you are going to get a sort of survey to rate the response and tell them what you think. I rated that response the minimum and told them that their reply did not address my concerns in any way.
Be polite when replying.

Please give Alison a break when you communicate. Life is full of frustrating moments, but dumping on someone who isnt at fault is way too common in life. She didnt develop leagues. She isnt tanking. But she gets to be the target of your frustration.

I told them of course I know about LQ as I am a member on some War Robots forums but they are obviously beating the system and finding a way around it and it was my hopes that Pix could do something manually (I.e. Place in LQ manually or suspend acc.) They came back and said that they were sorry they could not discuss the matter any further as it could give me "bad ideas". Oh Allison, if you only knew the kind of "bad ideas" that flooded my ?firetruck?ed up head! ?

I usually get the canned responses (there are actually 3 of them - sorry, passed on, under investigation) however the last two responses received have been more verbose and the content has been different. "Tim" responded that the majority of these types of issues would be addressed in the next update but that they couldn't go into details of the actions to be taken. This would be in addition to the special queue currently in place. (I wait with bated breath ). The other ("Alex") said they had noted my previous report on the issue (I don't know if that is good or bad - for me!) about clan tanking/clubbing and it was to be followed up by the games team.

Imagine you're in battle on Canyon or Yamantau. See that camper way in the back with the glowing eyes? That's Allison. She's warming up her Trebs while she's laughing at you. What are you going to do about it?

Please give Alison a break when you communicate. Life is full of frustrating moments, but dumping on someone who isnt at fault is way too common in life. She didnt develop leagues. She isnt tanking. But she gets to be the target of your frustration. I typically don't reply back to them, there is really nothing they (the customer service reps) can do. They're just the frontline people who have no say in anything. I don't even respond to the surveys anymore, because their hands are tied and my irritation is with the game and not with them. I suspect they would be less condescending in their responses if they played the game, if they have any control over that even. Generally speaking for any customer service surveys, not just Pixonic's, unless I'm absolutely certain the rep is actually a moron, I don't bother with the survey because anything less than "excellent" will be reflected in their performance metrics. I worked for eBay Customer Service for three years, first as a rep then as a team lead, and I can't even begin to describe the overwhelming amount of frustration those survey responses generated. They give you a one star, and you can clearly see in their comment (fix the server, change your policy, yada yada yada) that it's not you they're mad at, it's the company. Meanwhile, your metrics go down the flusher when you were doing the very best you can. And at eBay, our quarterly bonuses were based on performance, so not only were their comments extremely discouraging but they were affecting my income. So needless to say, I rarely ever (I ain't gonna say never cuz I'm just human) take out my frustration on customer service. Although I have to say Amazon reps have pissed me off more than once in their extreme stupidity and inability to just look at my account and give me an accurate response, lol, so those idiots got bad surveys!!! Fortunately for Alison and for me, I have all y'all I can vent and rant to!!

Alex is the guy I've had the most luck with, although related to another issue and not tanking reports. I emailed back and told him to tell his supervisor that he rocked. The response he gave you is definitely something I would expect from a good rep. It's not hard to take a quick peek at the email history, and acknowledge that this isn't the first time the customer has emailed on that issue. Goes a looooong way towards establishing good will and deescalating the customer's frustration!
