So, updated my iPad in anticipation of recording some games. And I can start the recording alright, however it simply doesn’t seem to work. The end result after the match is basically a frozen screen although sounds from the match are there. Any tips for getting this to work?

Just tried again and happened to play a nice 1.5 million game - but when I wanted to see the video, it just showed my hangar but with sound effects from the battle... Grrrrrr....

Just tried again and happened to play a nice 1.5 million game - but when I wanted to see the video, it just showed my hangar but with sound effects from the battle... Grrrrrr.... can you record normal screens other than war robot? I haven’t had a problem recording battles ... my problem was since then I had like 1 win and 5 losses :/ |

With a red bar in the top of screen, to indicate that it is recording, I assume. But when I go into the War Robots app, no red bar and in the video it either looks as if I’m just looking at my hangar. No animations in hangar either, so when I open the “equip” window, the sound is there, but no equip window in the video... |

Just updated my phone and it works perfectly there - so must be my iPad that for some reason doesn’t work properly.

Edit in the iMovie app and rotate it. Thats what I do.

Bummer, iOS 11 is a new release and still has countless bugs yet to be discovered. You just gotta wait till they discover and fix that god damn bug for iPad I guess..!

Guys, a question.
This issue could be device-dependent.
I run an first generation iPad Pro 12.9" and it doesn't work on that.
Someone in a Line chat has the same iPad and he can't get it to work either.
Can you please post what device you're running on and whether screen recording works for War Robots?
I'm considering getting another device, but I'd rather save the cost if it's not the device..

So, I went and got a new iPad (2017 model) and screen recording works fine there - so it was definitely my device that was buggy.

Really fast, with all the quirks (save for "telephoto"\"portrait" mode), and the most important thing: YOU CAN CHARGE AND LISTEN TO HEADPHONES! Yay! It still got both lighting and 3.5 earphones jack. And the price is real good. Or, if you don't like big phones - get iPhone SE, it's REALLY cheap now, even new from apple.com, and got same CPU\GPU as the 6s and 6s+ Or better yet get a tablet ;) |
