So it looks like there were two different Fujin prototypes in the course of its development. Interestingly, it originally had six legs. I'm guessing they reduced it to four to make it more cost effective.
The first prototype was outfitted with a Gekko, tested on a helium balloon.
The second was field-tested with a prototype flamethrower weapon, which was presumed to be the early phases of the upcoming Ember weapon. (Skip to 8:05 to see it in action)
