Up until yesterday I was pretty much guaranteed a top 3 placing. Even when my team didn't win we at least fought hard until the end and I felt like I'd offered a good contribution. Then last night I couldn't even complete the first 3 win bonuses of the day. Today I haven't won one game. The game starts well, then 4 out of 5 beacons are red and I get snuffed out at a rate of knots. My hanger isn't that crap; 8s & 9s, Stalker, Leo, Rajin, Fujin, Griffin, with mags, orkans, zeus', thunder, hydra... Average win rate was 68%. I'm not a hardcore player, nothing special, but I've worked really hard to get what I've got, and of course at this level upgrades start to take an age and a fortune. Even if I'd been moved up to a more difficult tier, I'd still expect around 50/50 win rate as there are 5 other team members, supposedly fairly matched, on my side - we can't all be crap every single time. What's going on? This isn't fun.  |

I had the same experience last night. It happens sometimes. Matchmaker has a hangover, maybe?

Ugh, it's so annoying. I finally bought a Gareth after getting bored with the wsp robots, and it's impossible to practice with it - I just get blown in to a paste after 3 hits.

There are "power hours" where hordes of MLG-types get to battling for the top 'Player of the Hour' awards which includes some measly Au. I forget the exact times, they're listed somewhere and I hate timezone math, but that's at least one common issue for sudden "Oh Tish!" match series. It could also just be a really bad run of luck, which the MM is also known for. A few nights ago my H6/8 gold hanger got matched up with a 5 man clad-squad using H12/12 bots... and I'm still salty about it  |

Last night I ran into the same MagGep lovin' fool three times. Twice in succession, then I put the game down for awhile, came back an hour later and there again. Random. |

I get the distinct impression that MM will occasionally gives players a long bad run, perhaps as an attempt to get them to buy something to shore up their hangar. Just get through it. MM will eventually give up in a day or two. It doesn't want to drive you from the game.

I had a bad run (along with disconnections) in the last two days.
My win rate has dropped from 78% to 50%.

If you are squadding did one of your team members add in a bot or weapon that moved them up and essentially the squad to a higher league.. THIS HAPPENS OFTEN especially to newer players who don't quite grasp the invisible league system check out the other teams and your teams top players and determine if maybe you are playing much stronger opponents or post a pic of your hangar and or your squads hangar and someone will instruct you |

Back to normal now. meh |

Sometimes you get this after upgrades. Keep at the upgrading for weapons, consider lineup changes and analyze your losses. Make changes accordingly, it gets better. Then worse. Then better... then  |

I usually run a win rate in 70s to low 80s. I will end up getting kicked in the teeth by MM within a few days of high 80s, gets really frustrating. But it does seem to cycle around. I have been beat down into the 60s on occasion, take my lumps & try to learn.
I run 6/8-9 heavys so I see some big variations of reds. Got 2500+ victories, Im waiting for new MM, I have tried to pull out my med hanger & MM absolutely crushes me with the reds. Tried a couple times, always puts me up against similar hangers as my heavys and my meds are lvl 4?

Sometimes I think it can be a bit like gambling in that knowing when to walk away is important. If I take a few losses in a row I just close the game and do something else for a while.
