Since I cannot seem to get into any existing clans, I am considering creating one. Please let me know if you'd be interested in joining before I spend the 1500 gold required. Once I get a few interested parties we can decide on a name and go forth. Platform: IOS

Anyways, note that this is for players on IOS. My edit to the posting itself was successful; just not the title.

Are you running IOS through a phone/tablet or a mac computer and playing the game through facebook? I play through facebook and would be interested in making the clan with you if you are playing on facebook. Thanks.

Just be mindful that clans are lots of additional work and there is like a few months required to get going. about half the clans ever created are dead. for most clans its a never ending recruitment exercise. clans generally don't want non active people because they want members to chat with and to fight with all the time. if a player has visible high activity points than a home in a clan is very easy to find (when I was soloing and had my cups between 700-1000 - offers were coming in one after another). And if a player has an activity score say 100 cups then it will be next to impossible to get into a decent clan (the clans that would accept you are probably not worth joining). Imagine a clan with 36 people from all over the world with 100 activity points each. you'd be lucky to see more than 2 or 3 people on at the same time. and to complicate things even more imagine if the 2 or 3 people are distributed from silver to expert. As a generalisation, most clans want people who don't want to join and most people want into clans but the clans don't want to let them in.
my advise, if your activity points are low than get them up higher, if high enough you will get into a clan and see what happens in a clan. then go from there. if your activity points are low, don't bother creating your own clan because it will most likely be a failure.
Having said all the above, a good clan is fantastic to be a member of. the gaming experience skyrockets. you just want to play more, talk more and socialise more. due to clan activity I hate to say that my cups went above 1500 since the last reset. and that's ~80%+ from squadding.

Thanks for the info. That is basically what I expect based on experience in other games with clans/alliances and the like. As I am only 8 days into the game, I still have low level bots (L6) and weapons (L5), but I do want to enjoy the clan experience. Since the game just updated the activity count today my value changed from 11 to 680, which is still not really an accurate indication of my activity level as I have a very large amount of free time to play. I understand being level 26 at this point in Gold League III at day 8 is probably uncommon, but that is where I am, and I desire the full experience. If I received an invite to an active clan, I would gladly join one, but at this point I have been accepted to only one that I attempted to join and found all players in it at less than 100 activity points, so I promptly left.

Save the gold, don't create a clan just for the sake of having a clan..

Having said all the above, a good clan is fantastic to be a member of. the gaming experience skyrockets. you just want to play more, talk more and socialise more. All above is true. There are several different kind of clans which do require different things being in clan. As general I would say, that in clan where I'm in, is the clan which emphasizes fun and laid-back approach rather than high activity in the game. Thought no high activity required, clan is not dead place - otherwise it would be disbanded already. Only thing what is required, is to sign up to our Discord server before clan invite is sent or apply accepted. As above post does warn, our members do vary from Silver to Expert (and one Master) and players are all over the world. When we are playing, we play seriously toward win. No tankers, ditchers or clubbers allowed. Yes, there is some times when most of the members are offline, but still we can form full squads without great league distribution. Some of higher league players does have secondary accounts in the lower leagues and can play with it if needed. Those secondaries are in the main clan or in another clan we created for them to park (to free up space from main clan) and squad through FB friendlist. Members in the clan are like minded so it does work for us. Even one iOS player turned into android side and is now playing mainly on android side

That would be great. Unfortunately still no clans interested in a new player it seems, no matter how active. Kind of a bummer that there is not a more efficient way to see clans that have openings other than the top 100.

Cerian instead of creating a new clan, how about joining the NEW clan I will send you an invite. the only fear is that this clan might be too casual for you. you can leave whenever you want, once you reach hanger/leaugue, etc. required for other clans you are interested. in our clan, there are some gold members who play daily. EDIT: I saw you are already in a clan. let me know if you need a (the) NEW clan at any time,

Thanks. Due to the lack of invitations and surplus of declined applications, I went ahead and created a clan. It is quite disappointing how unfriendly the game is to new players with regards to clans.
Since I already spent the $12 to make a clan, I think I'll keep trying to recruit new players for a while longer before I give it up and join a clan at this point.
If any new player is looking for a clan with no requirements, feel free to join.

Good luck Cerian with your new clan ! It would be interesting times ahead, recruiting, getting to know to new people etc. I suggest to create Discord server for your clan if you already haven't done it. Invite clan members to there to get to know each other and discuss about clan, game and other topics. Make them feel they are precious members ! And play the game ! (yes, I have created one clan in sometime ago, but passed leadership to another)

Good luck, if you need any advice and you don't want to risk your members seeing the conversation, hit me up. I run a very successful family of clans and I'd like to think my soldiers love me. But then again, they could be just blowing smoke up me bung to keep from getting the boot
