Rogatka, if you have one lying around.
Dash MK1 looks better, but don't have one, but can confirm its a dam sight faster than anything elce out there.

I've always preferred Stalking around for my beacon runner during my early hangars. Other than that would really be Kumiho... the dash abilities to avoid literally anything (even trebs if timed correctly) is outstanding!

Kumiho, or Rhino if you don't have a Kumiho.

Kumi is by far the best blend of speed, power, and defense in a BR beacon runner.
However, if you dont have one then either Rog or Rhino - choose whichever you feel you pilot better.
Me, I choose not to field a fast beacon runner at all. I can't beat a Kumi to a beacon and being second to a beacon means you have to kill someone to take it and probably deal with them coming back before the beacon flips. This means high DPS heavy if I want any chance of surviving at all (oh, I'll beat the fast runner, but the respawner will be back with a bot they think can take you down). This means Lance, Rhino, Griffin - all bots in the power runner class that can take and hold a beacon if necessary. Use a lighter bot by HP or firepower and you basically guarantee one red and done. You don't get above 700K avg damage by thinking even 1 of your bots are one and done.

Kumiho is the best. Stalker with Stealth can not prevent explosion, so gareless like light robot is ineligible as beacon runner. Zesse has nothing to argue about. Reno is still better suited for beacon runners. Loggatoka is also good. Zesse is good for confusing your opponent. (Aphids are the best equipment.)

I have no dashers, so I use my Rogs over my Gareths, Stalkers, and Jesses. I also prefer it to the Rhino, but if I needed one bot to get a single beacon, I would likely go with the Rhino

Outside of dash, the two are functionally equivalent, offensive edge going to rog

Rhino for the best chance of taking and more importantly HOLDING the beacon long enough for reinforcements. These days, it's suicide to go alone, and frankly, I'm tired of being the lone centre beacon runner now. My Rhino is currently taking a vacation and I'm concentrating of damage dealing bots.

I always start for the center beacon in my punisher Galahad, unless it's Yam, then I go for the other beacons first. I like this setup because it fries Garies and it is usually faster than a Rhino as it is more agile. The shield protects me from Magnum-Stalkers. The biggest disadvantage is that it is impossible to defend a beacon with it. I usually hope a couple blues follows me

This is the first time I've heard of a Jesse being considered as a viable beacon capper.

You should add Rhino on the poll. A DB rhino, in BR, is one of the fastest runners, and it's able to rip to pieces most of the lighties that would contend the beacon at start. Yeah Yamantau, I'm looking at you

You don't get above 700K avg damage by thinking even 1 of your bots are one and done. Hard to beat the Kumis to the beacons. I am running 2 rhinos right now. One is a punisher Rhino, which doesn't do super great fighting for a beacon, but it is a good deterrent for someone running for one. They usually get it, but sacrifice something in the process. I want it to come at a cost to them. If I have friends with me, it will give them time to catch up and softens the target for recapture. My other rhino beacon runner is a hellfire rhino (orkans and magnums). This does pretty well at moving around for ambushes later in the battle.
I used to run a rog as the initial beacon runner and he did fairly well, though he can't hold his own as well now that he can't back peddle or jump back from orkan/piñata fire. At least with the rhino, I can sustain plasma and some bullets with the shield for a period.
If you take away dash bots as an option, I would say the Rog and Rhino are the best non-light bot options. My $0.02...

I have to agree. Against a kumi, which is a fairly dangerous combatant, no solo bot will win. Things like stalker and Gareth are little more than annoyances. Prior to kbots, they were useful. But rog was best. Now I run a kumi. And every game I frag any stalkers / Gareth / rog stupid enough to fight for it

How is Rhino not on this list? I blown away many stalkers and gareth at CB with mine.
