Found this game on New year's and absolutely love it. First good mech game I've played since S.L.A.I. (how many recognize that one?)
Anyway I run 3 Leo's all lvl 6 all set up for close range. Working on getting all my weapons to 6 and grinding for gold for the 4th spot (probably a mid Griffin). Currently averaging about 230k and 2.4 kills over the last 50 runs.
Usually on for a couple games about 9p a couple more around 2a and go for a couple hours around 730a (central time).
Usually don't chat too much but prefer an English speaking group that is on around the same time I am.

So here's the deal, you need the 4th spot at MINIMUM to be even considered for a decent clan. You need to be active if you're going to request being in a decent clan, this means usually around 200+ trophies over a 10 day span. Your best bet is to keep studying wiki, the forum, ask questions, learn, and squad up with other players you match with during the game. Eventually, the clans will come to you. Your next recommended post should be a screenshot of your current hangar and telling us what style of play you want to do so we can help make you stronger......js

Not much of a need for a pic currently running 3 lvl 6 Leo each with lvl 6 (well like an hour from now) Thunder & 2x Aphid lvl5 (next planned upgrades) and the other light point I bounce between either a punisher/malot or a pinta (all lvl 5/6) Can't decide if I like the firepower of the pinta or the strategic usefulness of the gun better. Also have a Tosh and a Griff in mothballs right now. Love like to fight up close. Not sure on what I want in 4th bay have a Zeus sitting around and thinking about putting a Trident next to it on Tosh for now and using it for middle range or making my Griffin a shied breaker. Unsure but with 600 gold I have about 4 days to think on it

If you want to knife fight, those wouldn't be my first choice for bots, nor would the Zeus and trident weapons. You should give the boa a try, Thunders on top and orkans ( eventually tarans when you start getting wsp if you choose). At lower levels, the gepard is in my opinion, the most fun bot to play with for knife fighting and are nasty with aaphids on it. Tosh is mainly for long range sniping but that griff is going to become one of your main bots eventually. Try throwing that Zeus on a Schutze for now, you may like that as well. As far as your method of pain ( bullets, rockets, plasma), each one has its pro and con.....shields it can get through and shields it cannot, splash damage, homing, etc. Save your gold for now, knife fighters LOVE Orkans. Concentrate on upgrading what you have for now. There is no sense spending on something you won't like.

The Zeus Trident on Tosh was just to give my stable some diversity. Figured might be useful on Yamamoto or the one that is half farm and half cover (don't know the name) cause starting in the farm with a knife fighter sucks. Have a mag laying in the bank + an orc + the above mentioned pinta was thinking about adding a flame thrower (again name starts with T) and using a hit and run shied cracker If you are wondering how I have all this crap lying in mothballs I got really lucky on the holiday event and threw a whopping $20 to the developers. Most people playing that tier play around maybe 6/7 to 6/9. Your meat to them...lots of HP...little firepower. Now if you drop to say lvl 4 mediums that put you in HB. You would be far more competitive firepower wise. Regardless enjoy your game. If your interested in taking advice... pm me. |

Whatever. 4xpinata is good on patton. 4xcrv can be used for midrange. 4x aphid is a nuke but you need to focus gold on the 4th slot. 4x magnum can produce lots of damage. |
