I'm not sure if i should actively be looking to join a clan or not. I'm creating this post to get an idea of what I need to change or focus on, in order to be considered joining a clan. I play everyday over lunch at work, and a few games here and there in the afternoon/early evening. Some mornings i get to work 30min early in order to play before work. And there are some Mondays that I work a half day, and usually end up playing for 3hrs in one sitting. Im using an Android device. I have an extra hangar of bots i have purchased but rarely get them out to play. Extra hangar: Vityaz lvl 3 G.I Patton lvl 3 Schutze lvl 1 (which I'm debating on selling) Cossack lvl 4 Griffin lvl 4 (have played this guy a few times, still haven't gotten the hang of it yet, or how i like to use it) Gepard lvl 3 I'm currently in the process of leveling up all my weapons to lvl 8, and upgrading my lvl 3 bots to lvl 4. This includes what I have in my playing hangar. I love knife fighting, my favorite mechs would be the Boa and recently the Leo. My Leo I have just leveled my weapons to a 6, and planning on getting those weapons to an 8 as well. The idea is to upgrade all weapons to level 8, everything that I have in stock and use. And then start leveling up mechs. Any way, hope this is enough info, and would love some feedback. Everytime i ask a question on here I get some many good responses, I realize everyone has their own personal playing style. And everyone has their own advice. And thanks for checking this out...

There's always a clan looking for active players. The top clans usually have requirements that the casual player cannot achieve i.e.keeping 500 cups. You're making good progress on your bots, keep up the good work but you may want to consider throwing in that cossack with that nice orkan you have for beacons instead of 4 slow knife fighters until you can save up for 5th slot. You could also consider making that Golem Mid range rocketeer with a trident, tulumbas, crv pin setup for support

Oh, and that Leo is probably putting you up against higher tier opponents than you want to face with the other 3 bots, js

But, also trying to save for the 5th slot, so another gold weapon is out of the question right now.

Boa with orkan would make sense. I just consider, you wrote that. Use a punisher t, until you get another taran. You'll need it anyway...

They keep me around because I have 1400 - 1500 cups on average. When all my bots are dead I leave to join a new battle. Not being antisocial, just not wasting my playing time watching when I can be earning points.

Alright, this is my hangar, doing well with it. Should I get a punisher t and make the golem a midrange?

The golem? Buy a trident. Make it midrange. With crv pin and tulumbas.

The OP question is very helpful. Is there any advantage to being in a clan? (like extra AU or WSP?) I get that being in a clan can give you better teammates, but is there any other hidden benefit? I have been invited a few times. I accepted the first time, and then promptly did some squad battles and we got killed by much better tier bots. So I left, and have denied offers since. Platooning with randoms or playing solo seems to be a better fit for playing in silver.

Platooning with randoms or playing solo seems to be a better fit for playing in silver. The benefits of a clan include better teammates (in a good clan, much MUCH better), discussion of strategy, help with upgrades and hangar planning, etc., and the social aspects if you're into that. If you squadded and got killed by higher tier, your clan was probably not savvy to the tier system enough to put together a balanced squad. There are better clans out there. Unfortunately, unless you have some way to talk to them beforehand, like here on the forum or on Discord, you have know way of knowing other than joining. You can always quit if you don't like a particular clan.

Platooning with randoms or playing solo seems to be a better fit for playing in silver. There is a gold bonus for 3 squads per day (plus you'll sometimes get a task involving squads). Note, they don't have to be clan squads, but it's certainly easier to set up squads when you're in a clan. Clan's also have a chat board, which is nice to get to know teammates and get tips (although this forum is better). If you join a clan that uses voice, that extra coordination increases the squad's effectiveness by a lot. You can make sure not to pick redundant gear, get help when you need it, have someone identify a threat and quickly get the right counter in place, etc. Those are the advantages, but I think they are pretty substantial.

Alright, this is my hangar, doing well with it. Should I get a punisher t and make the golem a midrange? Boas are a lot of fun, but you'll probably earn gold faster if you substitute a fast beacon capper like a Cossack.

I have been having ALOT of fun with this set up. I did switch the Golem over to a tulumbas, crv pin, and kang-dae until I save up for that trident. After running all boa's, I think I'll bring in that Cossack with an orkan for some gold. Thanks for all the advice!
