Funny thing about this post, it is true for every weapon. You're NEVER going to get that "fix" .....you always feel like this weapon or that bot will make you a force to be reckoned with. The fact of the matter is that Pix makes it so everything is equal for the most part. There is no ultimate death button. Run what is most fun for you, that's your death button I would respectfully disagree kind sir. The Orkan once maxed out is truly a thing of beauty and lived up to all of my expectations. The Griffin loadout with pinatas and Orkans genuinely is a Death Button when maxed and melts virtually anything within range. Max Ork damage is listed at 1890 at level 12. The Scourge is listed at 4800 at 12. I can promise you... The Orkan has 10 times the melting power of a Scourge. My whole reason for leveling it up was based on those final numbers. They gave it the appearance that it did significantly more damage that any other Medium weapon when in fact if falls way short of most EVERY Weapon its compared to. I have a pair of maxed scourges as well, they're sitting nicely somewhere in the back of the garage along with the other stuff there's no point in using. Orks, Tarans, PunisherTs and Tulus are the only medium weapons really worth using. Scourges don't come really close.

I smell a stealth nerf here. The Scourge was much more powerful on the TS from what you describe, You said that 2 full 10 second L12 salvos of LOS hits did less than 1/2 total HP damage on a bot. I'd say that ththis s is IMPOSSIBLE under the current stated specs, because 3 L12 Scourges at 600m dishes 168K damage ---- and that should kill a Griffin outright. However, you've stated that the bot you hit incurred less than 50% damage, so the data points to a glitch or a nerf in the Scourge. I thought the Scourge was going to be the next BIG thing?! Glad I didn't sell my Zeus.

GuitarGuy , as fantastic as the Orkan is, it still has its weaknesses. It cannot "melt" an Ancilot......at least not in one press of the big red button and thats what we're really talking about. You're going to take damage getting to your target and will take a ton more when you go one on one. There will never be that one weapon that you press the big red button and your target vaporizes. That is the high we're all looking for and it will never happen is my point.

Hi All, Don't waste your money leveling up scourge. I got two and leveled them to 12 and they are pretty terrible. Even at point blank range you are far better off with orkans. I ran with two and an orkan on the new bot, meh. I ran with scourgelot and it was terrible. I even ran it with Lancelot with a max Zeus and max scourges - just bad. The new robots aren't all that interesting either. Small movements but long cool down and not very durable. Dont waste your your money on all this new stuff - it isn't even good. All my old stuff is far better... Are the stats in manual correct? That is, Scourge fires 100 energy cells in 10 seconds, then reloads for 5 seconds? And 100 level 12 Energy cells do 100 x 4800 = 480000 damage at point blank range? This sounds... rather devastating even on a Cossack... Or is the damage 4800 per second, so only 48000 damage per weapon in 10 seconds? This would make sense as damage at 600 meters... How does it drop in function of distance, how much does it do at max range, and is damage increase towards max linear? If what you typed above is actually correct, just one scourge can wipe out a few bots WITHOUT reloading I believe the actual math is 4800 DPS, which is 10 cells per sec, which translates to 480 damage per cell. One full clip takes you to 48k damage. Makes sense!

In many respects the orkans and piñata combo (DB) can and will completely melt many bots from full health to nothing in a couple of seconds. Galahads a prime examples of this. While it is true you cannot completely melt fully charged anclilelot, at point-blank range you can completely take down the Ancile, and about 20% of the Lancelot itself. Well it may not be the perfect load out the death button configuration Surely is the closest thing to that "magical" weapon system out there. The key thing is you have to be very close and helps of the target is completely stationary. A while back when the game first allowed members of the same clan to play against each other we did some synchronized squads and tested our weapon systems. The topic of not being able to take out an Ancile that was completely maxed with any weapon system had come up. As a test, two of our players one in a completely maxed ancilot and the other in I maxed DB Griffin fired his entire salvo into the other robot well sitting perfectly still and well on voice coms we discuss the amount of damage that it took. RDB configuration will not take down a maxed Ancile. A pair of thunder's that are maxed completely unloading can also. But it will not damage the bot. We have a bunch of nerds in our clan that love to look at stats and compare them to real game situations. It's interesting when you can actually run those kinds of tests for yourself and see how much difference it can be from Pixonic posted stats.

I don't get what kind of game breaking weapon the op was expecting.
Higher damage than a Taran below 350m, but a Max range of 600m? Won't happen.
Same mechanics as a PunT, but 100m extra range, plus autohit. And more damage on top? Won't happen.
Dps of a medium Zeus at 600m, but getting more below 600? Won't happen.
The Scourge can't just have all the advantages of the other weapons. But it combines a lot of them, so it needs to suffer damage output. That's balance. If you can't make use out it, get yourself another tool to do the job.
I use it to suppress RDBs, Zarnages, Thunder Carnages......damn almost everything without a shield. But surely my Scourge Gary is not Killer. My teammates usually deal with the distracted reds.

I have a couple of scourges that I have been upgrading to 9. I seem to have had a little bit of success at around 375-400 mtrs on soft targets the tracking means that even if your target jumps, the scourge follow it until the target is hidden from view. In beacon rush where everyone is maruading in shield bots and intent on sticking their weapons down your gob, the scourge loses some of its fancy shine. Best used in domination when you actually have time to plan an attack and can take time to move into a good position.

I'd still get hit but it's a play on distance with an RDB Griff. Attacking then would be hard, something along the line of a feint shot followed by a correction then fire for effect...will need to consider cover if doing a jump shot. However their weakness would be their own greed for dmg. They'll choose to close in if given the chance, I suppose a fire then jump to cover should at least give parity in DPS. Also Zeus Carnage dump all its damage in a fraction of a second, a smart Bul operator will lock, position shield then expose to fire...but smart operators are few and far between. So lock and peek fire should be effective against most of them.

Have now had 3 max scourges for almost 2 weeks and I can confirm it is absolutely terrible. Out past 350 it does very little damage and you need line of site. Instantly outgunned against any distance weapon. In closer than 350 and you are isntantly obliterated as it is 1/6th the damage of Taran.
This weapon is in the scrap heap until,they adjust the damage values dramatically. What a waste of money...

Smokes my bot with scourges with high rog and high organs. Too long to lock too slow to fire. Was on moon map. Fun to have but not champion weapon...

I can tell you without question now having used my 3 max scourges on my new dash bot that the numbers are wrong. Inside 50 yards or even point blank you will be dead against any Taran, orkan, piñata, or Molot weapons. It isn't even close. They do do very little damage at distance and the Taran I would say is doing 3-4 times the damage inside 350 that my scourges are doing. When I load up my new bot with just my 3 lvl 10 Tarans, it does pretty good damage. The bot setup is great, the scourges suck.

Maybe they can also change the graphics of the scourge's beam. I get the distinct vibe that another bot is pissing on mine...
