I don't know what it's called or the layout, but it's for real. I've just played on it. Very different experience on this map. I don't have any sense of the place!

If its green, with a big building in the middle and soft elevator music, that`s the Valley. Soon to be called The Valley of Death. Some tips. Stay on the outside as much as possible. If you see a bunch of reds go for the centre beacon, then make a dash for the beacons on their side. Once they are crowded in the centre, cut loose with mid range rockets. Do not try for the centre beacon on your own. Always buddy up. It`s a sure way to get toasted. It is VERY easy to get turned around or surrounded on this map. Some games, the reds are EVERYWHERE. I`ve lost more often then won on this map so far. The ones I did win were nail biters to the end. I mech out a lot on this map!

My adrenaline is still pumping from the first game. Well here goes, back to the Valley. Thanks for the tips, I'll try to remember.

OK, game two done, Victory! It makes more sense now and I hugged the side. The reds all huddled in the middle and I was able to sneak past them for a crack at the snipers. This map really has the feel of being trapped with no where to hide!

There`s SO many nooks and crannies in the Valley that can hide a bot. Once, I got so focused on a cripple that I dashed in to finish it off and got a face full of plasma from an Ancilot sitting in the corner that I didn`t even notice. You really have to scan each and ever red to see where they are before making a move. That said, jumping bots are awesome on this map. Makes me wish my second Rog was upgraded to the point that I can use it. Griffins are great too, but the Rog is lethal because of it`s quick cool down from jumps. I encountered a Rog in my Galahad. It was at half life and it still almost took me out. It kept jumping from cover to cover, over my head, etc. Of course, I`ve done the same thing in my Rog too. I was once in a situation where I faced a Natasha and a Galahad on the other side of a one of those obstacles. The obstacle was just high enough for me to clear, so I wasn`t exposed too long. A Griffin would have been hanging in the air for too long. The two reds were other wise occupied, and 4 jumps was all it took to destroy both (with help from whoever was occupying them of course).

It's called Valley map. I think it's not really good for sniping.

I admit I just quit one game on valley. Had a medium robot task, sported an all-medium hangar, played domination (br is not good for medium robots), and got shot down in my l9 Galahad just as I reached the first beacon, by a barrage of Hydras and Spirals. I shrugged and ejected.
Time to nerf them it seems, they were buffed so much and now we have 4 maps that are a Sphydra users wet dream (Moon, DC, PP and Valley).

Can somebody update the forum options so that we can select valley as a favourite map?

For one moment, just one moment I thought the "New Map" was the Dome or something... False alarm, it's just Valley, the Valley of Uncertainty. You can get banged from any direction, literally...

Valley. Where the birds don't have PTSD but continue to chirp despite the racket.

Valley. Where the birds don't have PTSD but continue to chirp despite the racket. Birds can't be bothered at all. Zero 「fluffernutter」s given.
